I'm not sure what it's like in Thailand but I can tell you that the coconut water in the Carribean (specifically Jamaica) is infinitely better than what we get here in the US. After I had Jamaican coconut water I frankly found almost all the coconut water I tried after it here in America to be disgusting. The only exception and only one I can really stand is the Harmless Harvest brand which is ridiculously expensive at $5 for a 16 oz bottle. I can get 3 or 4 times as much for the same price in JA and it's better-tasting. My guess as to why we get such an inferior product here is that the shipping process somehow damages the product. And that's just talking about the pure coconut water. The stuff where they add sugar is just crap. Just tastes wrong. Bottom line, nothing we get out here in a bottle is anywhere near as good as

Yeah. The added sugar shit makes me iffy. Just drank the can bottle with pulp that had 32g of sugar. That's a fcking can soda.

I drink it all the time. I'll even pop 3 in a row if I feel a little backed up. It gets my shit going

I sometimes wonder if it'd be possible to import tropical-quality coconut water economically and make money doing it. MY guess is that we can't because the only one I personally like is so expensive but I've never seriously researched it.

Going to Thailand and Vietnam so many times and drinking straight from the coconut has ruined all those drinks for me:lol they taste like shit in comparison.

The only one that tastes somewhat close would be the "Beyond" can of coconut water.. The rest are so full of sugar and flavouring

Didn't even know Thailand and Vietnam had comparable taste of coconut water like the Caribbean. Great to know.
