they needed to rack up as many wins in a row as possible to keep the momentum going
probably gonna finish the season 45 and 12

We still have 9 more chances.
I hope they don't beat the record. How bad will Durant look for joining a team that went 73-9 and won the title? The Warriors need to sell Durant on being the man who helped the Warriors get over the 72-10 hump.

He's going to LAL to fill the cap void left by Kobe's contract, bro.
Russell
Granger
Durant
Randle
Hibbert
is the likely Laker starting 5 next year.

Why would he leave one Bricktown to replace Bricktown?

Curry's flirtation with MJ's level of offense was brief - MJ had many superior 25-game stretches across the board, including this one from 1991:
Jordan 1991 (25 games) (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01/gamelog/1991/#440-464-sum:pgl_basic): 32.6 ppg.. 6.4 rpg.. 6.0 apg.. 2.4 tov.. 2.7 spg.. 1.3 bpg.. 56.7 fg.. 62.6 ts.. 130 ortg
Curry. 2016 (25 games): 32.5 ppg.. 5.3 rpg.. 6.0 apg.. 3.7 tov.. 2.2 spg.. 0.1 bpg.. 51.7 fg.. 68.8 ts.. 125 ortg
MJ's best 20-game streak was his first 20 games of the Finals - he averaged 36/7/7 on 51% - these 20 games included 3 fmvps and a 3-0 lead towards a 4th fmvp.
MJ also averaged 35/7/7 on 51% during the 1986-1993 playoffs (107 games).

Will lose to the Cavs, Thunder twice, Spurs twice. That gives them a margin of three losses to play with.

72-10 Bulls lost to the friggin Grizzlies, Raptors, and Nuggets that year. All shitty ass teams during that time.

And Warriors just lost to a shitty ass Bucks team. You think Warriors wont have 2 or 3 more losses to bad teams? You don't understand the NBA then.

MJ made a shot at the buzzer that would have won the game that was later discounted after further review. Or maybe that was 96-97. Remembered by some in Bulls lore.
And also won 33 road games. 33 road wins. Crazy.

It took one injured starter, a 7 game road trip, and a back-to-back for this team to lose, and they were in it until the 4th. Everyone loses sometimes.
I can see the team coming back down to earth though. They have had an extraordinary streak of luck. They should have 4 or 5 losses by now.
"Down to earth" for this team, though is still 65+ wins, and because of their hot start they will push for 70. Beating the record is a possibility as well.

Here's how mindblowing the Bulls' 1st half of the season was: They were 41-3 before the all star break. That means the Warriors will have to go 17-2 over the next 19 games to match that.

That's insanity. If they happen to win like that cool. I don't want to see them trying for that record. That takes too much focus.
