And now just ended the 15-16 Warriors' 24 game winning streak...

And they were the only team that had (just once) beaten the '83 Sixers in those playoffs, as well.

Not a stretch to see the Warriors winning.

I hope as hell they don't.

Don't get me wrong, it's an interesting stat. But considering that the best teams in the league have long streaks, there are probably other franchise that have ended multiple streaks from teams that won the championship. So it would be interesting to see those streaks. Maybe one or two other teams.

Is that a challenge? I feel like that's a challenge :oldlol:

I think the reason that this stat is true is because mostly the teams who go on such runs are typically among (if not) the best in the league. Not just any team goes on 12+ game winning streaks. It is hilarious though that the Bucks have ended so many great streaks though, good post

The Warriors are the only modern team on that list that's even a first-pick favorite for the title.

interesting stat

but it still doesnt bear much meaning since there have been tons of times that they've snapped streaks that didn't result in championships

Are you talking about season opening championship odds? Because Cleveland was favoured over GS...which means that GS was in the exact same position as the '07 Spurs in opening the season ranked 2nd in terms of odds (Spurs were tied with Suns for the 2 spot).
