This crackhead has absolutely no consistency to his refereeing.

How do you just stand there and watch that carnage? Weidman must have fvcked his wife or something.

as bad and as bloodied as the chris looked in the third, he was still intelligently defending himself.

hard to watch, but i understand why herb let it go. he is still the man.

As a Silva fan, I'm glad he didn't immediately stop it. Feels good seeing the guy who has 2 fluke wins against my favorite MMA fighter gets beat up like that.

Silva didn't win a minute against Weidman, so yeah, so much for fluke win.

**** yeah. I was saying in my head while watching "don't stop it ref, let him get beat more" I was glad it wasn't stopped immediately. Felt good!

lol i can dig that.

just for the record, i thought weidman had the slight edge until he made THIS crazy decision:

he also had a pretty head-scratching plan of walking down rockhold as if he was the same as silva, and eating powerful kicks as a result.

but assuming he makes those adjustments, i would favor him in a rematch. the chris still has a bright MMA future IMO.

Round 1 was close, but I have Rockhold winning that round by a hair due to those unsuccessful finish attempts, hard to score. Round 2 was clear Rockhold.

i'd have to rewatch it, but i admit i have some bias for weidman.

i do still think he has more upside than rockhold. the chris came in to MMA kind of late and still has holes in his game... very much on display tonight.

I was watching a stream of the fight, and the sound crapped out. When the round ended and Rockhold got up I thought they had stopped it, without the sound I didn't realize the round saved him. So obviously I thought it shoulda been stopped.

I do respect the notion of letting the champ go out on his own terms. But that got ugly.

I just think Rockhold's the better fighter. Weidman just looks stiff to me.
