Why is hitting someone's arm after they've taken the shot considered a foul? They're no longer in the act of shooting. It has no bearing on the shot. Should be changed

It probably means you were too agressive charging forward, knowing you're about to get hit, even if possibly as you released it, changes your mindset mentally, disturbs and alters.

How the crap did the Heat win this? I checked my phone and saw them down 6 with 1:55 to go and thought it was over only to check now and see they went on a crazy run to win

Green hit a jumper, then got fouled on a 3, and hit 3 straight FTs. Then Wade two buckets in a row. Winslow hit two FTS to make it 100-97.

Yeah, it's not like Wade scored the last 2 fg's including the game winner or anything. It's not like Bosh scored 22 points on 70% shooting or anything.

Interesting headline.

Just a boring Wade troll.

Wade was just doing what all time greats do. He dug deep, despite being off most of the night.

We won? Jesus...

We still suck, and are a 45-47 win team in reality.

You keep saying things like this, but I think most Heat fans understand that this is not a championship level team. I also think most of us knew we would struggle at times this year, especially on offense. From what I can tell, the expectations among Heat fans seems to be pretty realistic.

If they keep their turnovers under control and play tough defense they can make a nice playoff run. Depending on health of course, I'd say a first round loss is disappointing, a second round loss is so-so, and an ECF loss is a very good season. Anything beyond that would obviously be exceptional.

It annoys me for the simple fact we could be so much better if we had a better coach.

Yep. I said coming into this season my two biggest concerns were health and Spo, and not necessarily in that order.

How did Spo manage to win 2 rings if he was such a bad coach?? :wtf:

Weren't you (and others) trashing him when Lebron was in Miami? Now he's a good coach? He won two titles because he had 3 HOFers, all in or near their prime. A lot of bad coaches could have won 2 titles with those guys. A better coach honestly might have won 4.

He has zero offensive ingenuity and his defensive philosophy is antiquated in today's NBA. The Heat struggled a lot more during their championship runs than they would have with a better coach. He deserves plenty of blame for 2011, and in 2014 he made no adjustments to what the Spurs where doing offensively.
