He is probably right.

Lebron is the better player, but he's the better player by doing the little things, which isn't as sexy to kids playing on the playground.

"Chicks dig the long ball" and everyone loves launching up threes. Kids will wanna be like Steph because it's the easiest way to get the glory.

Steph specializes in going very deep and always rises to the occasion. He also has unusual lower body thickness that lets him deadlift more weight than anyone else on the Warriors.

One can only hope... Steph curry would be a blast to play with almost always makes the right play yet still gets his. There isn't any tentative play like there is with Bran it's all totally fluid. The best kind of play is fluid play.

As a kid, you'd get laughed at not wearing reebok pumps, J's or Nikes.

Kids at school getting bullied wearing Under Armor kicks

:lol @ "wanna be like Steph"

He's incredibly popular. People tend to relate better to more normal sized athletes.

I really hope that kids don't think they have Curry's shooting ability and just jack up a billion 3's a game. Should try to emulate Kobe and Wade more. Off-ball, post game, defense, passing, etc..

10-15 years ago, people were screaming Iverson not Kobe on the playgrounds. Hell, I remember a couple years ago cats were screaming Arenas from long range.

Agreed and if you're a big man, emulate Duncan.

Great tactic by Kidd psychologically putting more weight on Curry.

Since MJ retired, every kids wanna be like AI. Too bad, David Stern never gave AI the "chance" he deserved like how he handed the trophies to Kobe's Lakers.

theres already adults doing it at the local court, dudes dressed in Curry and GSW everything that just jack 3 after 3, every now and then they will hit a few in a row (as anyone does if you keep shooting) and think its justified and act like they are awesome.

Cringe as ****

Of course it don't sound right to you. Alhough I can picture you sing "Jordan" to Ritchie Valens Donna

"I had a boy, and Jordan was his name
Since he left me, I'd never be the same
Oh I love that boy, Oh Jordan where can you be?
Where can you be?

Oh Jordan, Oh Jordan
Oh Jordan, Oh Jordan"

I love Steph, but this just actually makes me feel sad that kids have to grow up with him instead of Mike. What they're missing. :(

its actually the opposite, bron will only do the "little thing" if it is captured in his stats.. Curry provides lots of unreal impact which isn't captured in his stats (spacing, hockey assists, facilitating, off ball movement, drawing doubles etc)

lol?

LeBrons defense is shown in the stats?

Meanwhile Curry literally getting hidden on defense every night doesnt impact his stats one bit

People are naturally prisoners of the moment. Curry is the reigning MVP, and his team are the reigning champs and just had a historic winning streak. He deserves the adoration right now because of his play and team success. If the Warriors fail to win a title this year, it will die down considerably. That's just the fickle nature of sports and sports fans. It's one thing to reach the level he's currently at, but sustaining it for several years is a different story, and few players have.

I agree. curry improvised kobe while kobe improvised jordans game. Thats why they are the heir to the throne. Meanwhile bran improvised a fellow losers game(robertson). So its no surprise he is 2/6:lol
