Too many white players, and white people in general, are trying to be black. I don't know what has caused white people to turn away from their heritage, but it's happening in every city in the US. I even went through a brief stage of trying to be black when I was a teenager.

Larry Bird was white. Very, very white. My dude rocked a mullet and was a hick. He didn't play the game to look cool; he played the game to kick ass. If a player is ever to approach Bird, the GOAT SF, he has to stop caring about looking cool and being down.

Being a great white player like Bird entails hustle, toughness, fearlessness, dirtiness, and everything that makes the white man a powerful being.

What I'm worried about is that being a big man, injuries come easier. I really really hope his career isn't cut short like so many other big men. Ralph Sampson, Yao Ming, Sam Bowie, Greg Oden, and others.
