Females do tend to get drunker than males especially with their tolerance and body weight. I've been drunk a few times and all my friends tell me I barely know where I'm at or what I'm doing in that state of mind. Things happen.

I used to be against females being drunk and being taken advantage over. Perhaps it's the state of mind where they allow themselves to get drunk in an environment not safe. I'm pretty sure no one on the jury actually believed it happened like that. The subtext of the case is that these two girls were clubbing and getting drunk with this old rich dude and then something happened.

Lots of people don't consider what happened rape. If a girl is getting drunk and going home with randoms and not even remember having sex with them... a lot of people don't really consider that rape. Just a girl making poor decisions.

There is no proof either. It's he said vs she said and when the girl is blacked out drunk her word is pretty much compromised.

Then when the guy is rich there is an obvious incentive for a woman to be lying. Instead of her being broke and looking like a whore she can get paid and be the victim and gain sympathy.

It makes it really hard to convict the guy in this situation.
