1. barbequed or seared salmon
2. any decent ceviche
3. eggs... usually as an omelet
4. lamb shawarma (i.e. a gyro)
5. escolar sashimi
6. chili verde - beef tips or pork burrito
7. corned beef, as a reuben sammy
8. a good steak
