This exhibit at the Los Angeles Museum of Tolerance is a true masterpiece. The reproduction of her diary is a work of art in and of itself, made ever more poignant by the surrounding documents and artifacts on the walls. This exhibit reminds us all of what it means to be human, the indomitability of the human spirit, and the delicate balance of our own mortality. I applaud this exhibit and the Museum for making the world a better place and informing our youth of our history, so that we don't repeat the mistakes of the past. Well done. :applause:

"Museum of tolerance" sounds so cultish and cringe.

"Museum of tolerance" sounds so cultish and cringe.

The almost ghost-like black and white portrait juxtaposes the backdrop of thousands of colors, symbolizing the stark contrast between the death of one, and the lives of so many others. The backdrop consisting of a tapestry of colors, acting as a metaphor for the multiculturalism that makes our country what it is.
