Man that is bad. He has been terrible for years now it's weird to think about him actually winning MVP.

literally a below average nba bench player
he is awful every single night
Maybe he should have waited to play until his vision improved :confusedshrug:
Man, it's surprising he's so bad. He still seems really athletic...

His team is 16-8 and he just went 9-19 in the W yesterday
Hes doing just fine. Look at all the guys of the league who have torn their acl and arent playing at the elite level they could gave... Jabari, Rubio, etc
Torn ACLs are freaking serious

You're expecting too much to ask these guys to think.

Could you imagine all the sh^t he'd get dropped on him if he sat out and waited?! Dude couldn't win in either scenario
He's looking better lately though

Lol **** that PER shit. I just listened to a podcast where a guy was straight using PER for all of his arguments, made me wonder why the hell I put so much stock into what these analysts and beat writers think about the game when they've never played in the NBA.
Not defending Rose at all though, human vision can tell you he's not good right now.

Just another case of injuries cutting someone's career short or not being what they used to be.

Everyone had to know with the big delay returning due to "not trusting his muscle memory" after being cleared by medical staff, that he was never going to be right again, that's a clear sign of his fear of re-injury which will probably never go away.
You will see flashes of brilliance here and there, but he is clearly the kind of guy that gets shook. And every little injury makes him that little bit more cautious until you get what we have now. I don't see him being a superstar again in his career, he has great talent, but he doesn't have the mental willpower to be great.

What is a PER and why are the Bulls 16-8 if it's so important?

Sure, 4 straight wins, but Rose wasn't the reason they won those. Gasol has come in and take over leadership of this team at age 35, he's the reason you should be happy about 4 straight wins. You telling yourself Rose shooting 47%+ for 4 straight wins is him getting his game back, but I doubt it.
Rose's 11ppg, 3apg, 2rpg, 1 for 6 from 3 over those 4 wins looks more like a good bench PG line than a superstar line.

PER is accurate over a large sample and it's because his teammates are good. I dare you to look at the PER of guys like butler, gasol, Etc.

but its not. the bulls last season went 10-10 without rose, and were winning .64 percent with him. his per would dictate otherwise. and alothough it is a small sample size this season, bulls are 1-1 without rose, but its still par for the course.

you might want to watch the games instead of looking at stats. rose has been pushing the ball and running the team at a higher tempo since 4 games ago, its not a coincidence. and hes been playing good defense all year.
