This may be true. I remember Kobe talked about it for himself because he rarely had the mindset to shoot a ball right on the catch even when he was open. He said he specifically worked on this aspect of his game for team USA and when Nash joined the Lakers.

I buy it. Curry just has a faster release and a much better handle. Those things matter when it comes to getting a good shot off in a game.

If we're talking solely spot-up 3's, then maybe :confusedshrug: Steph's much better off the dribble though, and I think it was 1 or 2 seasons ago when I checked, but Klay gets assisted on a higher % of his 3's than Steph

He shot better than 50% from 3-pt range with a minimum of 140 attempts

3 separate seasons.
