Serious question. Would Delly have been able to play Fisher's role on the Lakers?

He seems to like playing with guys with big egos, big contracts, and big game. Does what he needs to do. Fisher did the same - provided more leadership, though, and we've seen him win titles and hit clutch shots.

Who would you take in their prime?

Delly and it's not even close

Imagine if aaron brooks and rafer were raping fishy on the daily then how bad would curry be killing fish :biggums:

Fish is arguably the worst player in nba history no lie and if he would have been drafted to charlotte or Milwaukee then he would have never been offered a contact after his rookie one

Delly is trash too but at least his defense is effective for the most part

Idk tho both are bummy

The guy played 18 years in the league and was a solid contributor on multiple championship teams. Yeah, worst player in NBA history.

Delly...he at least can play defense. Derek Fisher is kind of like Robert Horry but to a lesser extent...a below average player who ended up in the perfect situation.

first 3peat fisher was a good piece to have as a 5th option, stay in front of opposing PG's, player.

2peat fisher was an interesting piece. i think phil gave him the task of seeing if he can let the opposing PG go off for career highs against him every night, and fish accepted (and completed) that challenge with open arms
