View Full Version : How Lebron keeps winning with Delly, aging RJ, JR Smith, Cunningham etc is beyond me

Irving still hasn't played a single game and lots of key players(Shumpert, Mozgov, Mo Williams etc) are injured and the Cavaliers are atop the East standing. Though Kevin Love has been putting up sound stats he still cannot play defense that the coach has to sit him for the entire 4th quarter time to time. How Lebron takes those borderline NBA players and makes the team contend regardless of the players that he is surrounded with is beyond me and tells you how complete of a player that he is. No doubt that Curry will take the MVP trophy this season again but what Lebron has been doing also deserves some recognition.

It's actually a bad sign. He needs to be resting for the playoffs rather than carrying scrubs to glory yet again.

Lebron has a 2nd option that is capable of 26/13 (Love).

Love is one of the best 2nd options that anyone has ever had - what other 2nd option is capable of 26/13?

Capable doesn't mean shit, Kobe may be capable of putting up 30/6/5 but he's doesn't. What you do now is the thing we judge you by.

I don't judge your crappy posts 1 year ago on what you post now. Although they remain just as shit.

...yeah, you just said that. We can read. And nobody cares what you are capable of doing if you do it on a losing team. It only matters what you do when you are winning.

What other 2nd option can win the same amount of games without the 1st option, as Pippen did in 1994, winning 55 + games?

Or was it MJ who was the 2nd option all along? :biggums:

When did Love avg. 26/13 as 2nd option?

Love is a terrible defender and is not a real max type talent. You are an idiot if you think he is the best 2nd option that anyone has ever had. In today's league alone, Westbrook, Klay Thompson, Demar Derozan, Lamarcus Aldridge, Pau Gasol, CJ McCollum, Chris Bosh, Andre Drummond, Chris Paul, Marc Gasol, Vucevic are all better 2nd options than Love. Let alone "ever".

Smith isn't borderline NBA.

Thompson was a top 4 pick.

Williams has still played a majority of games and puts up points.

Varajeo? Can't lie, don't know how he's doing but he's no scrub.

They play in the East.

Oh and Kevin Love is still a top player in this league.

This thread is trash.

put any other star with these guys:

Delly
JR
Love
Mozgov

And I'm betting you'd think they were shit.

Paul George's Pacers 1.5 game behind Cleveland with CJ Miles, Jordan Hill, George Hill and Monta (who is playing like sheet BTW)

Those aren't PG best players. Love is better than everyone not named PG on the Pacers.

I'm pretty sure Lebron missed a game, so the record for the Cav's with LBJ is 17-6. Which is 2.5 games ahead of Indy.

Lebron is really good. He effects the game in too many ways.

If and when Curry stops shooting 45% from down town at high volume, Lebron will be there to reclaim the title of best player in the world.

Kevin Love was able to put up 26 ppg on a weak T-Wolves team where he was able to have way too many plays drawn up for him, and his FG% was very low for a PF.

Mo Williams / Delly
J.R. Smith
LeBron James
Kevin Love / Tristan Thompson
Timofey Mozgov

is a team with above average talent... definitely top 8
