If they play like this every game then they are the best team in the league. Paul and Griffin is by far the best 1-2 actually playing together. The problem is they win a series against Spurs then they go out and give half assed effort against James Harden Rockets.

You win against the Spurs then lose to James Harden, that's just bad. Paul even admitted as much they were celebrating early and didn't bring the effort against Rockets.

That's unacceptable and it's on Paul, he is their leader and has to be the guy who gets everyone back in the game.

The Clippers were rolling in the 3rd quarter and were outplaying the Spurs up to that point. Doc then takes CP out too early and lets the Spurs hack DJ. From that point on, the Spurs go on a huge run and the Clippers lose all their momentum.

These games happen way to often and are why the Clippers are NOT CONTENDERS. There's too many things pulling away at their chances. They have a brilliant offensive core and that's it. That won't get you deep in the playoffs.

Aldridge will make a huge difference in an eventual series against Clips and OKC. No more getting outmuscled by more athletic forwards and centers. Now they can drop the ball down low to LMA or have LMA get putbacks.

Lol I'm not even a fan of the Clippers, don't like them even, but it's obvious they are the greatest threath to Spurs in the West this year too. Their athleticism on 3 out of 5 positions gave the Spurs a world of hurt last year. I don't see how anyone can doubt that Paul is the best pg in the league when he brings his A-game, made zero mistakes this game, played overall great.

Aldridge will be the deciding factor this year compared to last.
