As a white person, I have a hard time watching movies with all black people; I guess I can't relate to the characters.

I like some movies with mainly black characters, such as the Friday movies. However, I tend to need white people playing a major role in the movie to stay interested.

One problem is it seems like all the black "dramadies" are too formulaic. Like I've seen maybe 25 commercials for different all-black movies and they all appear to have the same plot, involving 3 or 4 black couples, the men are all bros, and they all have Taye Diggs. So it just gets kind of redundant......

Don't push your heroes off on others. Blacks did not create the legends of Al Capone ,Siegel,Luciano , Bonnie & Clyde , Got to, Lansky , Dillinger, Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy

Sometimes I consider myself an honorary black man in my head but I enjoy repeated viewings of Mean Girls and Cruel Intentions. The black dude from Save The Last Dance doesn't count to me in that.

However, other times, I am a pretentious elite film snob but I see that for some reason, I own Coach Carter.

One thing that I can't stand though is Tyler Perry movies. Horrible acting, boring stories and to make it worse he tries to make the black stereotype just pop out even more. I don't know if this nuthead realizes it or not, but he makes it look like all black people sound illiterate, work shitty jobs, and act rude towards others for no reason.

It was alright. I do like Snipes, though...but I hold a grudge for how he did Woody dirty in white men can't jump. Throwing games to help his black brothers and ruin the white man really pissed me off.

Morgan Freeman ,Will Smith ,Spike Lee,Steve McQueen,Halle Berry ,Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle , Terence Howard ,Jamie Foxx( Oscar), etc......& many other African Americans are beginning to play diverse roles in Hollywood.
