Should the media get on Doc Rivers' case for playing his son too much?

Averages +20 mpg. Reality is Austin should be a bench warmer in the NBA at the moment. He plays nice defense, but other than that he is useless, he can't shoot, he doesn't average double digit points, he shoots around 41% and can't create for his teammates.

Why is everyone including the media ignoring that Austin Rivers would be a bench warmer or playing in the D-League right now if it wasn't for his Dad?

I understand they have a horrible bench, but playing 22 mpg is a damn joke tbh. Give more minutes to Josh Smith or Lance, at least they have shown in the past that they can play. Let Lance run PG more when CP3 is on the bench, it's worth a damn shot.

I don't think y'all realize how bad Austin Rivers has been. He's supposed to be their PG and is averaging 1.3 assists a game. He's shooting 47.7 TS%. He has a 8.4 PER.

He has no clue of how to run an offense and has been terrible at everything besides defense where he's solid.

He has a -13.3 On/Off. That's not a typo. Today, he was -13. Yesterday? Also -13.

Despite this, Doc has decided to play him 22+ MPG. Why? Because it's his son. Disgusting.

He can't dribble for shit either. He has weird little hot streaks where he looks like hes good, but then completely disappears again. He is the worst player I can remember who gets 20 MPG. Prigioni and Stephenson should suck up all his minutes.
