Stacked? Their bench is atrocious.

Putting aside the bench...the team is a below average defensive team. Jordan is the only very good defensive player on the team right now. Paul is usually very good, but do to the fact that he's been ailing he's been pretty much average. Either way...they were a middle of the pack defensive team last year too because besides those 2 nobody else plays more than average defense. (or in most cases...worse)

All three of them have been garbage. Bringing up their names doesn't mean anything if they are balling like shit. Jordan also isn't a "beast" on defense...he's very good, but he's overrated. It was just laughable when they were campaigning for him to be DPOY last season.

This Clippers team has a lot of name players but they don't fit together well right now. It's still early but it will become too late too quick if they don't start fixing their attitudes. Bad body language, poor effort when things aren't going well

And their rebounding is atrocious. I cannot believe that they have 2 guys who are capable of dominating the glass and they have such rebounding woes. Whoever the 3 is doesn't come down to help clean the glass. No one is boxing out

And that is hindering their offense. If they cannot get a board they can't run in transition. And if they aren't running in transition their offense bogs down to a crawl and end up taking bullshit jumpers. Rivers will claim hack a Jordan, but that isn't the entire problem. The offense is very predictable when things get sticky. Even when the jumpers are falling it's fools gold. I think something is seriously wrong internally

The Clips have always been a joke. They lack the vision and developmental coaching that the Lakers have always intuitively had.

The Clippers are more top heavy than stacked. They still lack the one thing that keep them away from true contending and that's versatile 3&D small forwards. Team has zero.

Smith and Stephenson are bone heads who don't work well without the ball in their hands. Pierce is over the hill. Crawford is also on a decline. It's really Paul-Griffin-Jordan who do the heavy lifting and Redick has been solid too.

These four players were legit bench players last year, Crawford could light it up, Pierce was super clutch/efficient, Smith was good for the Rockets, Lance just needs more discipline, he was great for the Pacers

Crawford can still light it up but he hasn't. While Smith was great for Houston he was also terrible for Detroit so it isn't exactly a shock that he reverted back to looking closer to the Pistions' version than the player from the 2nd half. It is also not a shock that Pierce's production has also fallen off a cliff given he is 38 years old. Finally Lance wasn't great for the Pacers at least not in the 2nd half of 13-14 and was a non factor for the Hornets last season. Clippers would be better off if they weren't paying and playing people off past reputation and instead were off present production.

Just because a team is playing bad doesn't make them not stacked. They are clearly stacked at the bench, they are just playing terribly.

Whilst Blakes gotten better overall...his D and rebounding and shit has gone backwards and no one's stepped in to take the slack.
DJ is what...2nd top rebounder...yet the team is out rebounded like every game.

Jamal is also literally pure garbage now too.

They're also too cocky and Doc sucks.

And as everyone said...the bench just sucks.
Was worth the risk...they got themselves in a position they didn't have many choices.

- Pierce is old an washed up. He's also playing a lot of minutes at PF for some reason.
- Jamal is an iso-chucker that can't play any defense
- Austin Rivers is a terrible basketball player that would not be on a team right now if it was weren't for Doc.
- Josh Smith is playing the majority of his minutes at Center for some reason

Doc is a ****ing idiot and a fraud. Austin Rivers had a hard time finding his way in the rotation for a terrible Hornets/Pelicans team, but is getting 25 minutes per game for a team considered a contender at the beginning of the season. I don't like the way he favors Austin, Pierce, and Jamal, but neglects guys like Johnson. Doc falls in love with his stupid ****ing small line-ups. One time, I saw a line up of CP, Rivers, JJ, Jamal, and Smith... JAMAL CRAWFORD PLAYING POWER FORWARD!!! No wonder why the Clippers get outrebounded every game.

That is part of the problem.
