Far Cry: Primal

Looks great. I got into it since far cry 4. Haven't really played it much because I've been busy with destiny when I got my ps4. However, I will now finish it out. Primal looks good, as always the games mechanics is wonderful. I'm a huge fan of fry cry now, I'll support them as long as they continue to make great games like this.

Anyone interested in making a purchase or keeping an eye out for primal?
Anyone played far cry 4 or any other far cry and enjoyed it?

I like the survival open world feeling they give. Just so realistic. The next one should be with dinosaurs for sure

I'm keen for it. The story lines were getting thin in the regular series so this will be a good change up. Right after the last one I was saying non stop that they should do one with dinosaurs so I guess this is close to that idea. The wild life in far cry has always been a stand out.

I started playing at Far Cry 3, loved 3 and 4, this game looks interesting, I'll def be getting it, but I don't know if I'll enjoy it as much, will have to wait and see.

This game is 10/10 so far. I hope it won't get repetitive, hated AC I for it. I love the mechanics, the bows & arrows, how good the graphics are, I love everything about it.

Knowing they've made great ass games (according to reviews) that I've never played over the years, I'm 100% sure this won't be a letdown & I'm so looking forward to it.

Current mission: Just gathered green leaves for the woman.

I agree, & also their trailers suck, they didn't make it clear to everyone that it's OPEN ****ING WORLD - I'm a sucker for it.

it's being pumped heaps here, ads on buses and bus stops reviews everywhere. I'd say it's had plenty of attention.

I'm about an hour in, gameplay is great so far. Reviews are mediocre because apparently the story is flat out bad and boring.

Gonna have to disagree then because I thought it was crystal clear it was open world.

Any way played more of it last night. I've tamed a Cave Lion and a Jaguar now. Using the animals is probably my favourite thing so far. Haven't really gotten hooked yet though. It seems to rely more heavily on crafting and looting than the last game which is a bit annoying.

played 5-6 hours now. have tamed the bear and sabre tooth. the sabre tooth just kills everyone, I'm taking harder bonfires now without having to do anything except send in my sabre tooth. The main quests are still just collect resources and there's very little story yet. Tried the mammoth pre order (I didn't pre order but still got the code) quests and they suck

Primal would've been better if most of the apex preds were rare and only exclusive in a specific region. Also, being able to revive your cat via accessing tamed pet/animals HUD screen -- made it a lot easier, didn't feel challenged as soon as I had the top sabertooth, it was just way too easy.
