50,000 is nothing provided they are actually refugees, and can be properly traced and vetted (i.e. take them from the camps rather than invite hordes of young men to break into your country - there is a big difference). Something like this is no big deal.

As soon as they've been let in one place, they can go anywhere, with no checks and no means of tracking (well, tbf, the last time i went from Amsterdam to Berlin by train, some Polizei did a sweep down the train, though i didn't see them check anyone's credentials). But before the recent attacks and crisis there was literally nothing, and no way of knowing who is and who is not in your country.
