Fairly straightforward question.

Just think of the defensive potential of that lineup. They were pretty amazing when a post-prime birdman joined in 2013.

Whiteside wouldn't exist in the format he's in right now if Lebron didn't leave. They would be no room for Riley to take a chance on him.

No.

He needs two PRIME superstars to feel comfortable.

Still a starting frontcourt of whiteside, bosh and lbj are still elite.

At least defensively.

Not enough. Lebeta needs at least 2max contract star players

Riley might have been surprised but I don't think Wade and Bosh were when he left.

Lebron is a business man. MIA gave him the opportunity to be the lead dog and learn from Wade and Riley how to win big games. He compared it to going to college.

I believe he always planned to come back to Cleveland despite what roster MIA has. The ego in him knows if he can win them a championship, he will be God of that town. He will have the power and influence to maybe even get a chunk of ownership in the team. Gilbert will let him do what he wants while Riley and Mickey wouldn't

Lebron would have stayed in Miami if Whiteside was on the NWO White Hot teams when Lebron was in the last year of his contract.

quite possible..... But Bron doesn't need part ownership in the Cav's to become the first billionaire after Jordan.
I think Bron just wants to put Ohio and Cleveland back on the map.
If Whiteside , Bosh , Bron ,Wade and a few legit role players would of been the 'team of the future' for the Heat , I seriously believe they could of won at least 5 chips.
As it stands Wade is in his shadows prime , Bosh starting to hedge that direction , and their supporting cast was not what it was in their last ring year.

lebreon would have vetoed the addition of an inexperienced d leaguer

he would have asked for veteran help like james harden or curry

he did always plan on going back and it's no coincidence that Cleveland got 2, 1st overall picks.
