What I think you don't understand is that it will be natural for many Americans to feel sympathy for this guy, JUST like it is natural for many Muslims to feel sympathy for terrorists. It's just pure tribalism. It's instinctive. Everyone will say they don't, but most do.

Dondadda isn't even a Muslim, and has sympathy for terrorists. Obama's preacher, Jeremiah Wright, isn't a muslim but HE had sympathy for terrorists. Liberals have sympathy for terrorists, because both groups resent conservatives, and find each other to be convenient allies.
