Don't care. People who pretend to care are forcing themselves to respect the Spurs.

He needs his own team built around him so the attention falls solely on him.

Nah, the former Finals MVP won't show up in the playoffs. He doesn't know how. :facepalm

Even when the attention falls solely on him, the other team can't stop him.

He is getting plenty of isos. He's doing plenty of cuts. He can hit every shot. He plays ELITE defense.

He is basically Grant Hill (without the court vision) with Scottie Pippen defense.

He is on a team that has LMA, a perennial All-Star, averaging less than 30 minutes a game. WHO THE **** DO YOU THINK THIS TEAM IS BUILT AROUND?!?

How do you go about looking up these stats?

I assume you use basketball-reference, but I don't know what you would put into the fields to find one-on-one matchups and so forth.

Wonder what Curry and Klay's averages will look like against him in the playoffs

Last season playoffs?

Had no idea averaging 20, 7.5, 2.5, 1.1, and 0.6 was not showing up. Didn't know erupting for 32 was not showing up. Didn't know averaging 47% from the field wasn't showing up.

Kid got tired.

I would be very curious about his stats vs Curry in the playoffs this season. Curry has shown the propensity to shoot over much larger defenders (Case in point, Davis) with no problem. But, one-on-one every play for a full quarter. I think Leonard would bug him too much with his quickness and length. He'd block out the sun with those hands.

Would be a very exciting matchup. Too bad Curry couldn't handle guarding Leonard :/

I want someone to frustrate him offensively as much as he frustrates everybody else.

Just because PG shot 1-14 against the Spurs does not mean that Kawhi was on him for every one of those 14 shots. But then again, I didn't watch the game. Either way, Kawhi is a beast and on his way to another DPOY.

Any small, quick guard can have more success against him than a 2/3 or even 4.

I've seen his defense get ripped in the playoffs by CP3 AND LEBRON.. Neither are great one on one players... So I will wait to see what he does defensively in the playoffs..

The Clippers are the worst possible matchup for Kawhi, from a defensive standpoint.

Chris Paul is too small for him to guard, we can't reasonably expect him to chase Redick around screens all day and still produce on offense, and his elite defensive talents are wasted on LA's SFs (Wesley, Pierce, Mbah a Moute). He also can't guard Blake (not that you'd expect him to) but Pop always has two bigs on the floor and he's obviously not going to have one of them on the 3 while Kawhi guards Blake.

He played good defense on George but some misses were caused by the help defense not only Kawhi.
