For everyone who has Netflix, watch it (its on there in Germany not sure about US).. although your account must be registered under a person over 18, as the doc. includes scenes of the 2011 Lakers series.

You hear about his circumstances playing at the Hoop Summit, his upbringins and early passive to even negative attitude about entering the NBA, being born in a family with people who had a good deal of success in multiple sports such as Handball (father), and shifting between 3 sports (Basketball/Tennis/Handball), 2 of which he was really good at (Basketball/Tennis), until dropping the 3rd due to bad grades...

his family and their lifes (which basically haven't changed even through his staredom), his obvious work ethic, Don's first time seing him and his immediate belief in the specialness in Dirk, the decision to stay in America and go right into the NBA, the troubling first year, Cuban's arrival, German national team, his competitiveness, etc. and the obvious darker and more painful times of 2006 and on, the struggle, how the team and Cuban faced it, his fraud life partner, 2011, just so much...

Just all in all an inspiring story from his small and humble origins to the almost unthinkable mountains he's climbed to where he is today.

Dirk talked about how they did a survey one year in the US and Dirk turned out to be the most marketable player, yet all he has is really 2 sponsors... he doesn't really do commercials.

By the way, the title of the documentary is pretty lame.
