the west will improve this year, and teams like the Pacers will eventually fall apart like they always do. Just like last years Raptors.

That theory may work with clips 6-3 record vs east, but then look at Okc third seed 12-2 vs west and 7-6 vs east, wouldn't make playoffs in east yet 3rd seed in west by your logic.
