If he wins a title this year, he HAS to move up the all time rankings...just like he always does.

Those 2 points were HUGE.

Donald Trump HUGE.

Yeah lets ignore his 5 boards, 5 assists, 4 blocked shots, and a steal in his massive 24 minutes on the court. +17 on the court (best of all players) in the game as well.

Honestly man, if you don't understand anything but points scored maybe you should start a thread about how a player can contribute to the game without scoring?

There is nothing wrong with making a lot of threads if they are good threads, but this 30-year-old man baby makes awful threads.

Well yea that's implied.

I wouldn't comment on someone making way too many threads if they were good :lol

Point is...

Duncan can use all his energy on defense because his team doesn't even need his offense.

So how is he continually moving up the all time rankings? How is he more revered than Kobe?

Maybe he has enough sense to step back offensively and allow others to shine and develop (LMA and Leonard). Maybe he isn't obsessed with being the "man." Maybe this attitude attracts players to his team instead of repulsing them.

Sure, but he's capable of still being one of the best defensive players in the league in this scenario.

It's odd how you would conveniently leave that part out...he's still an elite defender.

Other players, we won't name them, put all of their energy into offense...don't try at all on defense for more than a couple plays a game...and aren't capable of playing elite offense

Duncan has to get in line behind Lebron with this clown.

Or maybe he just has the luxury of stepping back because he has great teammates...every...single...year.

Leonard, a SUPERSTAR, was drafted. Nothing attracted him but a draft pick.

It's clear as day why this is. It has been posted so many times it's not even worth repeating so lets try this.

What do you expect the answer to be and why do you disagree with it?

1-6 shooting likely is going to reduce those. It wasn't by any means a great game by him.

A long long way to go before he reaches those 1-14 Kobe type of performances:roll:

Now watch Duncan make the playoffs as a 40 year old while Kobrick watches from his couch, come May:lol
