The most polarizing legacy. His story reads like an oscar worthy film that epitomizes all that is humanity. The ups, the downs, the triumph.

Other players like MJ have boring stories that read more like a Disney movie. Predictable, melodramatic, subpar.

Or Kobe, a story of a rich kid who had everything served to him on a platter.

There is no greater story in the NBA, then the tale of Lebron James.

"The King"

Lebrons finals win percentage is too low to be a "legend". :(

Like no joke. Lebron's story is the best of them all. It's not even close.

If they ever made an oscar level NBA movie, it'd be about Lebron

Just look at all the iconic ads that have been made about him

They have a much more human touch to them. It's not about selling shoes. it's about humanity.

For real, no other "great" have a story so full of comedy like Lebron's.

It's why we are going to miss Lebron more than any other player

He was everything and anything. MJ's story although amazing, ran too pictuesque, and had no real human drama.

Kobe's was the same more or less

But Lebron's follows a child prodigy, that had the weight of the world on his shoulders at 15... He had the weight of a city on his back at 18. From the ghetto, overcame ALL the odds. A heartfelt story with twists and turns. A true masterpiece.

I'll agree to it being an oscar worthy performance, the acting alone would be superb

The most touching part of the LeBron story is when he finds a father figure in a place he wouldn't expect it, a former rapper/entertainer in his age group by the name of "Da Real Lambo".

Lebron's tale is part Greek tragedy, part Herculean hero, part prodigal chosen one

The most controversial basketball player of all time

Lebron's story is boring as shit.

Coddled since he came out the womb, fanciest private school in the state, never wanted for anything, played basketball his entire life and has nothing interesting to say and no interests outside of the sport.

A much more interesting story would be that of Tim Duncan. Dude literally chose basketball because his school swimming pool was wrecked by a hurricane, adjusted to life on the college campus, and his father's death from prostate cancer.

Not true at all.

Duncan's story is nice, but it lacks controversy and emotion. The start is polarizing, but he's a relatively boring person.

Lebron's tale from beginning to end is just... Oscar worthy. Every little bit of it.

Lebron is boring as shit, man. Everything he says is some spokesperson/corporate shill or catch phrase.

Plus he's like 31 and already married with like three kids. Thats ****ing boring as hell.

Wilt would be far more interesting. That guy played like every sport, learned new instruments, read a lot of shit, and nailed 25,000 women. Thats someone to admire.
