They do not have equal rights

Have you not forgotten what has gotten us this far? Humanity seizing the mantle of the Earth. Have you not forgotten? Man would have never risen above the beast had he not taken advantage of it. We are the guardians of the planet. But do not forget how we got here. The efforts of humanity in the beginning. Do not forget it! For to value the life of an animal over one of your own, is to spit in the face of every ancient homo sapien that fought the elements to ensure the future which we take for granted.

Do not forget.

To Err is to HUMAN!

Agreed.

Animals only a few months to a year out the womb know how to survive.... human toddlers are notorious for doing things that endanger them. Heck, it takes a lifetime for a human to understand the natural world.

Animal colonies like the ant have near perfect societies... it takes a HELLA lotta work to get a decent society goig.

Human culture seems to be more expansive, rigorous, unnecessary in a beastial sense, impractical than simply mating rituals and seasonal preparations.

Humans can become more compassionate than any other animal if so inclined to.

Humans ability to use tools exceeds that of the second-runners like New Caledonian Crows, Chimps with rocks and sticks by many, many, many, many, many thousands of years.

Humans have the ability to create reality and master nature at a level far far higher than animals.

Humans can withstand the forces of lust, appetite, anger, fear at a much more resilient rate than animals can.

Humans have far superior endurance running than any other primate.

agreed

additionally I would make a distinction between being 'human' and belonging to homo sapiens as a species

additionally to belonging to homo sapiens, to be also 'human' as we, Westerners understand the definiton of this being, you have take up and fully live through a certain mindset that sets us apart

for example muslims, with their submissive, animalistic worldview can't take up this kind of mindset, therefore they are not really 'human' as we understand it and therefore we should design a new legal jurisdiction for them (and others)

At their lowest they are worse. Much much worse.

But their potential is even higher than angels. A fully refined mind with a pure heart can perform near miracles on this Earth.

"And of 100 trees, it takes the fruit of only 20 or so well developed ones to make up for the 80 other ones. " -Nursi

Look at how Deuce has made strides in preserving forests and Rufus in beautifying smiles. The fruits off their labor offset our shortcomings. Perhaps Ridonks may grow a work ethic and make something on this world
