This is what probably angers me the most about Muslims. It is that Radical Muslims predominantly kill their own people, yet they somehow cannot vanquish this problem across the entire Middle East. We are talking about multiple countries with probably a 10:1 ratio of peaceful, law-abiding Muslims versus radical jihadists.
For years we thought the French were weak. No, it is the common Muslim man.

Not that I don't believe it, I just wonder how data like this is collected. For anything really, data collection on things without an existing data base prob isn't easy.

A common misconception. The French, historically, have been far more valiant and war-like than Americans, and in fact, America had about a 0% chance of winning their war of independence without the aid of the French.
Not to mention that the French stands in WW1 were some of the most courageous and impressive in history, and that if US citizens had suffered a Versailles in WW1, then they'd be far less willing for a repeat in ww2, just like the French. The idea that the French are cowardly is a horrid historical slander.
Americans should be less condescending to the French, and instead be grateful for the fortuity of their geographical location.

Americans don't like to actually learn history unfortunately.

They have a reputation of losing wars in the past 100 years. Their reputation as cowards and surrender monkeys is based on the two most recent world wars. They need to get a big win under their belt to erase that image of them. Hopefully next war they deliver. The world has a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately attitude towards war. As an example, no one respects the Spanish military and navy today because of their past historic dominance. No one sees the Mongolian military today as a threat, even though back in the day they had the largest empire ever.
In terms of history, Americans and French are always allies. But the common frenchman has a condescending attitude towards us just like we have towards them. I call it a friendly rivalry, similar to our relationship with Canadians and British. Both of these groups mock Americans and we mock them, but deep down we are good bros.
Deep down us Americans and the French are arrogant assholes. We may make fun of each other on the surface, but deep down we see ourselves in each other and have each others backs when it matters most.
We still like France for the Louisiana Purchase for example. They just need to stop losing world wars so quickly. Then we won't be so embarrassed to have them as our close allies.

Go for it. And give us a sauce too while you at it so we can give credit to them, nobody thinks it's you.

Given that the thread was about December, it would only need to be updated by 3 days.

Our army is vast, our attacks are endless. The second you think you are safe will be the moment that you ultimately perish to the might that is Toyota Tacoma.

It's only based off the reputation of the second, not the first world war. The French stand at Verdun was one of the most courageous and valiant stands ever made in military history (and it was one of many battles that had a level of devastation Americans have never experienced, wholly because of their fortunate geographical location). After the shit they went through in ww1, what happened in ww2 is quite understandable; if the Americans had gone through such trauma themselves, then they'd understand this better (the only devastation that comes close is what was done to the South during the Civil War, a savage destruction that has been largely whitewashed by popular historians, hoping to portray the mass-slaughter of southern civilians and property as some kind of noble crusade).
