Does anyone else hate the idea of gifts?

I absolutely hate them. 90% of the time people give you shit you'll never use... And you're supposed to be grateful to this person. I'm only grateful if something has use to me. And I paid for it. The whole idea of wrapping something up and giving it to someone just seems so childish. Gifts and all, I don't like people giving me shit for free. I like to pay for things. If you give me something for free then you are an idiot and you will receive no gratitude and moral boosts from me.
