....and the places/cities that actually do allow the use of them have age restrictions (mainly parents have been getting them for their kids). Talk about a complete waste of money. There have been reports of many confiscations in my area as well. Are they still allowed in your area?

IDK but I want one. Was riding around all day on one yesterday, it was an in law's gift.
I just want one for my house... I probably won't even take it outside.

I'm comparing to skateboards in regards to the way they were treated. In the early 80's and early 90's. Being limited on where to ride, putting regulations.
So these hover boards are going to be tricked out and made durable for some sort of extreme sport.

I've bought 2. Both from China, one for 260, the most recent for 230.
The first one was a dud. Got my money back (well amazon gift card since that's what I used on these anyway), and shipped to somewhere in Pennsylvania.
The second one is dangerous. It runs but starts violently shaking once I get off. It will literally shake till it crashes :oldlol:
I'm tempted to send it back but then I wonder why bother. I think I may contact amazon to destroy it and get my money back eventually. Amazon is good with that stuff for buyers, great customer service.
The only reason I haven't flipped out at their incompetence is because I paid $0 out of my pocket.I did like it when I rode it, but it's not aerodynamic. A small bump and I will crash. I still want 1 that works, but there are very few bump-less places here :lol
When they first dropped they were $500-1500 a piece.
If you really wanted one, the prices are quickly becoming inflated

People call American Football "Football", well you know the rest.
The very first thing you do in any american football game is kick a ball with your foot....

This is a real hoverboard: http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhEDR893Fn0823C1aW
I'd take the one with wheels 10/10
Good idea but it will take years for any real board to be produced and sold to the mass public.
Super expensive too.
Logistic nightmare too.

I'll take em both. But they will be damn dangerous until you can master it like McFly did.

One of the dumbest inventions of all time. And a humongous waste of money.
