View Full Version : Did anybody watch the Knicks/Pistons game? Melo: 24 FGA 0 FTA

How in the hell does that happen :biggums: :biggums:

I didn't watch this game so I'm hoping to hear from somebody who did, Melo only took 5 three pointers. Was he just settling for mid range jumpers? Was he not getting calls? Just seems crazy for one of the better scorers in the game to receive 0 FTA after 24 FGA. He's like the opposite of James Harden

The refs don't call much for bigger and stronger guys. It's disgusting really.

Stop the freaking ref conspiracy he was shooting the entire game. There was zero reason for him to play bully ball with the small defenders they had on him. He was shooting the mid range a lot

The refs hate him, and NY. Simple as that. His FT/Shot-Attempt is absurdly low.

Its like when people say x team had 30 fts and y team only had 15 but if you watch the game y shoot more jumpers and x drives all game

Combination of the refs totally disrespecting him and him not playing for calls. His game isn't super conducive to winning but one thing I respect about him is that he busts his ass to get his buckets in a bunch of different ways, without flopping and flailing around specifically for FTs like some of the other bullshit stars today.
