Australia is allied to America. America is allies with Turkey. Turkey is a terrorist nation full of wahabbist style muslims. America thanks to Obama is now kissing Iran's ass with the Nuke deal.
Obama making decisions that sides heavily towards muslims. He is a traitor and until presidency changes, I will not trust any decisions made by America.
There is potential for world war and I honestly don't want to fight against what I perceive to be the good guys in all this.

For the american soldiers/people no. Not yet.
Only that Obama can justify this to be provocative and any action taken by Russia or China against Turkey could draw this into a world war. Obama is not working in the American people's interests, he wants to cripple America badly before he loses presidency. I'm convinced of that.

Why would it become a world war? Plenty of wars have occurred since WW2 that did not escalate into world wars. Besides, if China went to war with Turkey, we either wouldn't get involved or would side with China. There's a zero percent chance we fight Russia and China for ****ing Turkey.
Edit: Shit I forgot Turkey was in NATO, doesn't really seem possible. That's an interesting wrinkle. Our relations with both countries individually is pretty bad right now, due to the South China Sea

Always check your sources before launching a debate...
We shouldn't be discussing what we think about the massive deployment of Chinese troops in Syria any more than we should be discussing what we think about the invasion of Venezuela by extraterrestrials from the planet Jupiter...

The 2015 poll was conducted among 824 American adults by phone from Dec. 2 to Dec. 6
GTFO with that garbage.
And yet, despite all your cheerleading, and all of Obama's non-stop propaganda, who does Crimea belong to? And how is the Assad regime doing? Is Ukraine still dominating the news? It seems like one leader is actually achieving his foreign policy goals, and more importantly, knows what those goals are (protecting the interests of his country, and not standing for being marginalised and humiliated by an aggressive and expansionist American Empire), whereas the other is completely lost, aiding Islamists one minute, and pretending to fight them the next (while being allied to all the countries funding the Islamists, shipping weapons from Libya to Syria, and so on).
Is IS still a JV team? How did the bombing of Libya work out (which Putin opposed and condemned, and which was illegal - something for which Obama would be impeached if there were any politicians and journalists with balls left)? The arming of Islamists in Syria? Another Obama success i take it? If these are successes, god, i'd love to see what a defeat is (a nuclear holocaust, perhaps?).
When it comes to foreign policy, Putin actually achieves his objectives; Obama doesn't even know who his enemy is (one day it's Assad, and the lovely and caring rebels are our allies; next, it's most of these aforementioned 'rebels' and Assad, even though the two are fighting one another, and our only allies are a figment of his imagination, i.e. the myth of "moderate fighters," an imaginary cause, for which Obama has effectively been chucking American tax-payer money into the sea):
Western governments have alleged that the Syrian government has not been fighting Isis in the east of the country. This is largely untrue, but President Bashar al-Assad has played down the conflict there because it has produced a series of government defeats by Isis which has filmed its fighters executing Syrian soldiers by shooting or decapitation. Syrian forces backed by Russian airpower are now intending to launch an offensive to recapture Palmyra, which Isis captured in May.
http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/war-on-isis-complicated-syrian-battlefield-increases-chances-of-errant-air-strikes-a6764026.html
It was a year of dramatic events in the war in Syria and Iraq, but the political and military stalemate at the beginning of 2015 was still there at the end of it. The most important change on the ground was the start of the Russian air campaign on 30 September which ended a series of significant defeats for the Syrian army. So far the Russians have helped to restabilise the military situation, but they have not transformed it by capturing the rebel-held half of Aleppo or sealing the Syrian-Turkish border.

What the literal **** are you talking about? No one is parading anything, but if you can't recognise that intervention to save the Assad regime (and prevent the country from crumbling into complete anarchy - with the majority of the Syrian population still living in regime-held areas), is far more important for the future prospects and stability of the country, than taking small amounts of mostly desert territory, well, then you just don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about.
Two years of straight losses have been reversed by the Russian intervention, and yet you've got clowns like you trying to give the credit to a guy that armed and aided the Islamists in the first place (and lied that Russia was bombing the non-existent 'moderates' - such doublespeak :facepalm - no wonder you're an Obama fan, and a slave to illogical propaganda.

You didn't get my point, toolbag. I never once insinuated in this thread that Putin's military intervention in Syria hasn't had positive impact on the ground impact. It's very much good news to me that IS offensives have been halted and they are on the defensive in Syria and Iraq. It's just you who act like Russia alone has changed the tide and Syria being the only theater of war. Before you go obnoxious again, know that I think American policy in Syria has been a disaster. Syria would still have descended to civil war though, no doubt. And no. Gains in Iraq are not just desert, you tard.
[QUOTE] Arguably the biggest criticism of coalition efforts to defeat Isil in Syria has been the absence of effective ground forces to exploit the damage inflicted on Isil positions by coalition air strikes. In Ramadi, however, this shortcoming was addressed by the ISF which, taking advantage of highly effective US and British air strikes against Isil positions, stormed the city centre, raising the national flag over the newly liberated Ramadi government compound.

Yeah, Britain's 8 planes have made all the difference  - clueless beyond belief.
Sounds like a pr gimmick to justify the actions of the slimy David Cameron.
And if that's the case, then why exactly was IS making steady and continuous gains, for concurrent years, prior to the Russian intervention? That is too much of a coincidence to ignore, and i wouldn't take as fact the information that is fed to you by media hacks, especially at the Telegraph, which is often just a mouthpiece for the UK Conservative Party. Ramadi was only recently taken, funnily enough after a much-heralded victory in Tikrit.
The very same article you quote also says the following:
One possible solution would be for the coalition to work closely with the 34-nation Islamic military alliance Saudi Arabia established earlier this month to combat Islamist-inspired terrorism. To date, Sunni states such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia have been reluctant to deploy their ground forces in Syria. But if leading Sunni countries can be persuaded to play a more active role, then there is every possibility that Isil can be defeated in both Syria and Iraq.
I think that says it all about how poorly he understands what has been going on over there. Saudi planes are busy bombing Yemen, and their leadership have no interest in fighting the Islamists in Syria or Iraq (and neither do Turkey, who have an Islamist leader in Erdogan, something its NATO allies are trying desperately to ignore).

Crazy right? 9% would be devastating to their economy, like Great Depression level.
That 9% is cumulative. So not Great Depression. 4 years of -2.25% will get you to 9% cumulative.
Low oil prices are affecting the Russian economy more. This is from today. (http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/russias-ruble-reaching-record-high-lows-36004157)
The Russian ruble has hit its lowest level in a year against the dollar as the country's economy is battered by a decline in the price of its oil exports.
The ruble dropped 1.3 percent in early morning trading on Wednesday to 73.2 rubles per dollar, its weakest level in about 12 months. The national currency lost 40 percent of its value last year and is now 20 percent down compared to a year ago.
The Russian economy has been suffering from the effects of Western economic sanctions and oil prices, the backbone of the country's economy, which are currently hovering around 11-year lows.
Supposedly the fighting in Syria is coming from Russia's regular military budget. This would mean they are fighting at affordable levels.

So here's the original source (http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1970.htm) of the "news."
Sorcha Faal is the alleged author of an ongoing series of "reports" published at WhatDoesItMean.com, whose work is of such quality that even other conspiracy nutters don't think much of it. :lol

American politicians have a long and proud history of being the best in the world. Our most recent batches of leaders have been shit.

Let the butthurt flow through you.
You are the only one talking shit about America in here.
You don't even know the greatness of your own past politicians.
Obama is not America. It is a fundamental American right to be able to criticize shitty politicians.
There are no blasphemy laws in the US.
Brush up on the history of your homeland, breh.

Not really. They've been losing ground since like August 2014 (http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/08/iraqi-kurds-battle-islamic-state-fighters-20148177020281481.html), the first month of American aerial bombing. Though steadily. Way before any Russian intervention. :lol
Their impact on the ground still cannot be evaluated properly by just 3 months. However, in Iraq ISIS has been losing thanks to American airstrikes. 40%. :applause:
Here's the Iraqi PM vowing to defeat ISIS by 2016 (http://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-crisis-iraq-ramadi-idUSKBN0UB0TW20151228). Continue slurping that Rusky vodka. :lol

And Ramadi fell to ISIL in May 2015 - how is that 'losing ground since August 2014?' - quit it with your bullshit. No one is denying that the Kurds have been quite effective in fighting IS, and have expelled them from a number of small towns and villages, but still, nothing major. And America is no unconditional ally of the Kurds; they ****ed them over by allowing Erdogan to bomb the hell out of them. That article about Kurdish gains you posted does not support your assertion in any way, and it's misleading to hyperlink like that, as you've written yourself something the article never says. Your other article continues:
American officials said the U.S.-led coalition backing Iraqi forces had carried out more than 630 air strikes in the area over the past six months and provided training and equipment.
The U.S.-led coalition, which includes major European and Arab powers, has been waging an air campaign against Islamic State positions in both Iraq and Syria since a third of Iraqi territory fell to the fighters in mid-2014.
Over 600 strikes over a period of 6 months, and taking this one place is some great victory to you, a game-changer? Not just this, but the article actually contradicts your assertion that they've been losing territory since 'like August 2014.'
Members of Islamic State, also known by the acronym ISIS, are ultra-hardline Sunnis who consider all Shi'ite Muslims to be apostates. They swept through northern and western Iraq in June 2014 and declared a "caliphate" to rule over all Muslims from territory in both Iraq and Syria, carrying out mass killings and imposing a draconian form of Sunni Islam.
'Losing territory since 2014' -
The Iraqi pm you are mindlessly extolling only recently criticised Obama and also recently said he was thinking about inviting the Russians to help them in Iraq: https://www.aei.org/publication/iraqi-pm-abadi-accuses-obama-of-a-lack-of-will-and-may-invite-russia-to-bomb-isis/
The title of the article you posted is 'Iraq PM vows to defeat ISIS in 2016 after army's first major victory' - been beating IS since August 2014 doe :hammerhead: .
You're really being quite the blockhead here. The only thing stopping IS from being eliminated is the stubbornness of the US, their willingness to ally with pro-Islamist nations, and their unwillingness to coordinate with Russia or Assad in any serious way. If they really were serious about getting rid of IS, this would have been done already.
You're just another typical propaganda shill. Anyone pointing out that the US has been rather unwilling to take the steps to properly tackle IS, is in your mind, some kind of Russian apologist. That's the typical response of a brainwashed fool, a mindless stooge, some fatuous patsy. Worst of all, you lie and distort, just like your hero-in-chief.
