You are a shitposter, but it's true. The Warriors rely on Curry's gravity and scoring so much that without him they look pretty poor. They really only have a few effective offensive players outside of Steph (Klay, Green, Barnes), and they aren't showing it tonight..

Would NOT make the playoffs without Curry.

Curry is the point guard version of Dirk. His entire team's ability to do anything on offense hinges on his presence on the court. Without him, no one can create their own shot.

True, but that doesn't make a guy like Draymond Green a lesser player. Green just isn't a franchise number 1 option type player.

Guys like Klay, Iggy, Green, Barnes...etc....aren't good because they are good shot creators for themselves or others.

Also, it should be mentioned that the Warriors were without Barnes, Festus, and Barbosa as well.

Warriors were missing Curry, Barnes, Festus, and Barbosa tonight...anyone think they'd look the same without a pg really and missing all those guys?

Well, at least we know for certain that you only care about Curry now.

teams generally don't do well without their best player, shocker.

And Dallas was missing Deron Williams.

Draymond Green is what he has always been. A slightly better version of DeJaun Blair with better shooting range.

Add far better passing and DPOY level defense...sure.

DPOY level defense, my ass. Put him on a team without great defensive big men and he's nothing.

Probably his single best attribute is his ability to allow his team to go small and play him at center.

Have you really not heard of the "death lineup" that literally everyone around the game has been talking about for a while now?

You don't judge a 2nd/3rd best player on a title team on how he'd do as the best player on a team. That isn't what makes him valuable.

Like...Kevin Love would do better being the best player on a team, but Kevin Love would be so much worse in the role of Green on this team it's not even funny.

Yeah I never said he sucks but he's a glorified role player. He's probably the 4th best defender on his own team.

This is why he is an MVP franchise level player. He and Lebron the only players right now with this impact.

So you're saying a team was without their best player, one of the top players in the league, and they struggled? How could that be? :confusedshrug:

I wouldn't be too sad bro. The Warriors without Curry are a bunch of good players, but mostly consist of guys who play best in a complementary roll off of Curry. It's not like the team would win jackshit without Curry tbh. They wouldn't be terrible or anything but they wouldn't be breaking any records

IDK it could be somewhat mental in that they feel lost without their leader.

Klay got to show Harden who's the #1 shooting guard.

If the Warriors beat the Rockets tomorrow I'll be happy as hell.

But with Rockets you never what you're gonna get. They have lost some winnable games this season. It will be interesting.

i don't know.. it might be more than that. they have to approach the game differently without Curry. they have no consistent playmakers(Livingston is good in spurts) outside of him so setting teammates up for easy shots become harder. Klay is ok but he can never be the primary option on a team

They'll underestimate GS and get blown the **** out because they don't have their star guard.

think GM1 of the Clippers-Rockets series last year.

Bogut and Iguodola are the defensive horses of that team.

Klay Thompson is a pretty good defender as well.

Honestly Green just complements all those guys; he doesn't anchor anything at all.

GSW was missing open jumpers and layups, and Dallas was draining threes like it was nothing. I doubt Curry would change much of that.
