Or is Jordan Clarkson better at this point? Prety alpha of Kobe to still be the franchise player at his age.

Absolutely! Tonight's vintage game shows that! 5-18, double Williams' shots to make two FEWER field goals :D
33%fg for the season. This simply cannot be underestimated or topped! :lebronamazed:

It's hard to really determine the best player on the Lakers currently.

No one is the best player. It's a collective like the 2004 piston except the lakers have a lot worse talent and coaching.

Kobe Bryant with his legs under him is a top 15-20 player in the nba and the best on LA

without his legs hes the worst player in nba history

its a delicate balance

its actually quite amazing when you really think about it.

No clear cut best player right now, although Randle is averaging a double-double basically in his rookie season.

So basically Kobe relies on athleticism/legs more than any player in NBA History? :biggums:

its not so much an athletic advantage over the defenders since hes not and was never the fastest or jumped the highest. infact kobes never gotten his head above the rim

but kobes jumpshot is timed with his legs and has been since he came into the league.

so when you change up the rhythm then he has to basically learn how to shoot again

so its not so much relying on it. its not as if his legs put the ball in the net.

its just the fact that he has to be at a certain height off the ground to use his muscle memory in his arms to shoot his jumpers

its like saying "can lebron still dunk if we cut his achilles" ofcourse not...

thats how high kobe used to get on his long range shots. he literally would jump high enough to dunk
