Only Jordan is ahead of him. Lebron alreayd has 13 years of pure dominance and carrying bad teams to NBA Finals and he will add another 2 superstar years to his resume with another 5 all-star years.

i dont have lebron at #2 all time right now. might end there if its all said in done.
but regarding his aging: lebron must work on his jumper to compensate his athletic regression in the future.

The only reason you have Russell up there is because of rings, and rings are won by teams. He is an incredibly inferior player to any other guy of that list

No, he's not. Only Kareem is in the conversation as the GOAT and has an iron-clad on the number-two spot for my lifetime.
LeBron is already etched on my top-ten list, and he has top-five potential, but I have seen him disappear in too many finals games—and in at least two series—in his prime; that in itself is enough to disqualify him from being within serious striking distance from Jordan's legacy.
That's one of the staples to Jordan's GOAT legacy; he dominated from the outset of his career and consistently, which only steepens the challenge for other ATGs to amass a better legacy as it lessens the margin for error in the finite time of their careers.

plus he coached 2 teams he played on to championships
so yeah its not like hes steve kerr or robert horry

Hakeem is a comparable defender and ten thousand times a better offensive player than Russell. Hakeem is, therefore, a better basketball player

hakeem didnt grab 25 rebounds and block 10 shots a night though
nor did hakeem lead 11 teams to nba championships in only 13 seasons
nor did hakeem win 5 mvps from a "player vote"
ofcourse hakeem is more advanced due to the eras and natural progression. but if we started judging guys based on that criteria then lets just throw out everyones accomplishments that took place before the 80s... then 20-30 years from now we can throw out everything magic and jordan ever did
deal?

No he didn't, because he played in a much tougher and competitive era than Russell. There is a reason why many consider Rodman the best rebounder of all-time, and he didn't average 20 rpg in a single season. You really think that Russell would grab 25 a game if he was born in the 80's? You really think that Russell would win 11 rings in the current era?
If you do, Russell should be your #1 all time hands down

Hakeem, Kareem and Duncan maybe. Magic isn't even close to being better than Lebron. Give me a break. He couldn't guard a lamp post. Basketball is played on both ends of the court.
I reckon he was better than Bird overall, as well.

He's not top 2 but he's top 5 atm.
Another ring + FMVP will get him into the top 3, easily.

Lebron's longevity is surprising people right now (and making them mad in the process :oldlol: )
In a few years, he can move to Power Forward full time and still be a star.
He can perceivably be an all-star in 2023....this means he will have been an all-star for 20 years, a super-star for at least 12 of them (2005-2016), and consenus best player of the year for at least 5 of them.
And being a super-star for 13 years and an all-star for 7 would put him pretty high on the list. Probably top 5.

Maybe you didn't. He did, I'm sure. I did too. I've watched both and many did. Kobe is not a top 10 player. You liking him doesn't make him a top 10 players.

Lebron can realistically end up with 32000 points, 9000 rebounds, 8000 assists y the time he's done. It's insane.

#2 GOAT choker after Wilt  :applause:
Winning 2 of 6 Finals disqualifies Lebron from #2 GOAT all-time (especially since 1 of the 2 was off a Hail Mary 3 from Ray Allen) - doesn't scream outstanding.

You not liking Kobe doesn't not make him a top 10 player. I saw MJ live and it's easy to know that Kobe is a top 10 player for obvious reasons. That's why he's on ever top 10 voted list that I've ever seen.
