Dana Barros, another small guard who would murder the league today.

5'11 tall only, very quick, deadly shooter.

Best season, 1994-95

20.6ppg on 49-46-90 with 3.1 rpg 7.5 apg and 1.8 spg

This guy would be like Stephen Curry mixed with Allen Iverson today with current rules.

I'm flattered you'd think I am Budadii since lets be real he is ISH troll king, only he was better when he wasn't team Lebronie.

Doesn't change the fact that Dana Barros put up Curry like stats in a more difficult era and he was a scrub on a shit team.

Barros => Dell Curry < Steph Curry

Dana Barros would be an All-Star in today's league? (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276500)

...except he wasn't a star, but okay. Even that one 20 point season doesn't amount to much...considering it was on a team that won 24 games.

Being an All-Star makes you a star, right?

Not even close to being the same type of player. Kevin Martin is a homeless man's Reggie Miller.

Dana Barros is one of those small chucking point guards you all love. Like that guy from Portland or something but with a much better shot.

He'd be a 15ppg scorer on 45% shooting in his best year today.

80's and 90's was packed full of these 20-25ppg wing scorers on great efficiency. It was simply easier to score back then. Lots more one on ones to exploit.

Wasn't that the first year of the shortened line.

Haha, you weren't even alive when he was in the NBA.

He would've been a lot better in today's perimeter haven NBA.

he'd get exposed defensively beyond all words. But thanks for reminding me of him, that's an old name!

Mike James once put up 20ppg while shooting 44% on 3's. So you're saying he would be a star as well?

There are literally dozens of examples of mediocre or high-volume shooters who can put up good stats on bad teams. And you just cherrypicked Barros' lone great season where he just happened to put up good stats on a crummy team.

Larry Hughes, Ricky Davis, Monta Ellis, Michael Adams, Orlando Woolridge, Corey Maggette, Reggie Theus, Jim Jackson, Laphonso Ellis, Antawn Jamison, Jason Richardson, Kevin Martin, etc. The list goes on.

Your post doesn't mean jack.
