Yeah. Wouldn't surprise me to see them play better than expected the rest of this season. Which is probably better than tanking long-term honestly.

Knight would be frustrating to play with.

He takes a lot of shots out of the flow of the offense, a little Rose-like.

Suns really screwed it up when they introduced this 2-3 point guard line up... Should've just built around Dragic....

This is true, on any level; lottery, playoffs, finals, that tension is there when losing is on the line

That's what happens when you stuff two talented PG's in one backcourt. Don't know how the Phoenix organization hasn't figured this out yet.

thats not true.. being in the finals means you won alot and are a great team in general, that always makes it easier.. winning cures... not alot of finals teams or even playoff teams with locker room tension and problems.

plus, your statement is way too bland and general, it would apply to any team in the professional sports world, then.

Brandon Knight has a hard time getting off without Bledsoe on the court. You'd think he'd be getting 30 a night after Bledsoe's injury but taking some of the attention off of him helped him do so well in the beginning of the season. Now I'm pretty sure he's in a world of hurt. He gets demoted to bench duty right before the Bledsoe injury, funny timing? I bet him and the coach do not get along after that.

I remember when they had Isaiah Thomas, Dragic, and Bledsoe, with Gerald Green on the wing, and I don't remember what else.

It seems to me they were pretty good, then. Not contenders, but perhaps a lucky FA big man signing away from being a threat.

Bledsoe and Dragic, IMO, was a winner. They were fast and fun; and they could play together; defensively, Dragic was on the tall side, and Bledsoe is a pitbull on defense so it hardly matters if he's undersized. On offense though they would run circles around teams. I don't know why they gave it up.

Like I've been saying about Knight for over a year now...He's a good guy off the court, but a really selfish player on the court. Undersized isoball 2 guard masquerading as a point guard. If you run him as your point guard he will make everyone around him worse at the expense of putting up pretty scoring stats, and if you push him off-ball he will pout and bitch because he's extremely delusional about his game. Aggressively insists he's a point guard despite not having any of the skills to run a team as a point guard...court vision, timing, tempo control, game management, shot selection, leadership...none of it.

Bledsoe/Dragic pairing was fine, going 25-15 in the 40 games they played together in 2013-14. It was bringing in Thomas that got them to where they are. To be fair, the Suns had reasonable playoff aspirations and were 29-25 before trading Dragic last season. Personally, I felt Dragic isn't good enough to build a title contender around but receiving Knight via trade was just a bad move.

It's because the suns management is pretty bad.

I noticed that Knight and Bledsoe clashed in the games they played together after the trade last season. Bledsoe would look off Knight on some possessions. Iirc I mentioned that in a game thread and thought it was really weird.

Didn't expect it to bubble over to this year but oh well. Phoenix may as well embrace the tank for the rest of this season.

If thats the case then i'll trade them back Dragic for either of their PG's.
