It's a catch22 retort; LeBron stans seize the chance to call the Warriors "stacked" to emasculate perspective on Curry's leadership, but it backfires because it also slights LeBron now that one of those staples in Draymond Green is arguably a better all-around player at this stage.

At one point, Warriors were up like 25. Had the Warriors won with a huge lead with draymond playing excessive minutes, I'd agree with you...but they didn't. Warriors dropped a 12 point lead with 10 minutes left in the 4th and game was barely won in overtime.

I mean, Is this how you feel with every player that has a good game against the Knicks then?

That game came near the end of the '68 season.

BTW, on a nationally televised game on Christmas Day in '68 (68-69 season), he had a RECORDED 23 blocked shots.

Your boy Kareem would be in the league the very next year and would never approach any of Wilt's block numbers.

Oh, and Chamberlain had games of six blocked shots just against Kareem. And this was a past-his-prime, 34 year old, post-injury Wilt, at around 300 lbs.

Not only that, but Wilt had games in which he caused Kareem to have 13 TOs.

You know...the KAJ who would, at age 39, would go on and absolutely crush a 24 year old Hakeem in their H2H's?

In fact, an old KAJ was far more dominant against Hakeem, than a prime Shaq was.

Where were the impressive passes last night?.. Today's passing entails waiting for 3-point shooter to spot-up, and hit him with basic chest pass.. and the kiddies go wild!!

http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/1-03-2016/b3uIr6.gif

Today's spacing makes it too easy, so the days where you actually had to mitigate defense and CREATE a play are gone..

http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/8-06-2015/yu7DqT.gif

That type of skill is no longer needed in today's game - all you need is the basic chest pass!!.. Seriously - lets compare Dray's passes to Magic's, or even Grant Hill

http://207.58.151.151/forum/showpost.php?p=11994220&postcount=2

Curry's is deceptive. The man is literally shooting 30 ft shots.

http://207.58.151.151/forum/showpost.php?p=11994233&postcount=3

Curry has taken 5 30 ft shots so far, 200 shots from 25 ft, 227 shots from 5-24 ft, and 150 shots from less than 5 ft. This ain't the 60s old timer, everything is recorded and documented.

So, from your reply my assumption that Curry takes 30 ft shots, should be construed that he has only taken EXACTLY FIVE 30 ft shots, and not the other ...even though we have this...

http://207.58.151.151/forum/showpost.php?p=11994555&postcount=33

Dunno where you found this data.

http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/20193...HOT_DIST&dir=1

Can sort it by distance, which the link should show.

I count 10 from 30+ feet, then another 8 or so from 29+ feet.

And finally...

http://207.58.151.151/forum/showpost.php?p=11994741&postcount=40

EXACTLY.

Instead of using this idiot's FIVE 30+ ft shots, which anyone with any brain at all would know is not even remotely close to being correct...we have ACTUAL measured data, which support my "60's" take.

BTW, I also counted 25 from 28+ feet from that data source.

And the bottom line...Curry is almost impossible to defend. He has an almost unlimited range. He has the best handles in the game. And he is probably the most proficient driver of the ball in the NBA as well.

I don't need some technical breakdown to prove this.

So the Lakers walk the ball up the court, get arranged and then, as VBK says, start "to grind it out." The Lakers do not often make 100 points now. "Defense is the thing we're really living on," van Breda Kolff admits, and Chamberlain has been superb, sometimes even awesome, on defense. In a recent game on national television he blocked 23 shots against Phoenix.

When Johnson played at Idaho in 1963, he already had a reputation as a leaper of the highest order. One evening at the Corner Club, a local tavern on Main Street in Moscow, Johnson was requested by owner Herm Goetz to display his rare ability to the patrons. The Corner Club was a very modest establishment, converted from a white-stuccoed small chapel in the 1940s with hardwood floors and a beamed ceiling. From a standing start near the bar, Johnson touched a spot on a beam 11'6" (3.505 m) above the floor. This spot was ceremoniously marked with a nail by Goetz, who then proudly proclaimed that anyone who could duplicate the feat could drink for free. A 40-inch (1.016 m) diameter circle was painted on the floor, and both feet had to start inside the circle to ensure a standing start. A full 23 years went by with many attempts at Gus Johnson's Nail, including Bill Walton in the summer of 1984, but there were no successes.

That was until 1986, when the College of Southern Idaho basketball team from Twin Falls stopped in town in January on their way to a game against NIC in Coeur d'Alene. Joey Johnson, a younger brother of then NBA star Dennis Johnson, was brought into the Corner Club for a try. The 6'3" (1.905 m) guard had a 48" (1.219 m) vertical leap and could put his chin on a basketball rim (10 feet (3.048 m)) with a running start.

Johnson laced up his shoes and touched the nail on his first try but was disqualified because he did not start with both feet inside the 40-inch circle. The next attempt came from a legal static start but was just a bit short. On his third try, Johnson grabbed and bent the legendary nail, a landmark event in Vandal sports history. Goetz pulled the nail out of the beam and pounded it back in, a half inch (13 mm) higher.

The same Gus Johnson that Chamberlain did this to...

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/61992/before-there-was-youtube-there-was-wilt

The Baltimore Sun on Nov. 26, 1966, recounted the powerful blow the day after it occurred, in a 129-115 victory by Chamberlain's Philadelphia 76ers over Johnson's Baltimore Bullets in Baltimore. Johnson, according to the paper, suffered a “wrenched shoulder” thanks to Chamberlain's mammoth swat.

The Los Angeles Times on Feb. 26, 1981, recalled that Wilt Chamberlain “dislocated the shoulder of the powerful Gus Johnson when he blocked one of Gus' dunks.”

The Philadelphia Inquirer on Oct. 26, 1986, got the scoop from Billy Cunningham, who witnessed the event: "It was Gus against Wilt," Cunningham said. "Gus went in to dunk, and Wilt caught the ball, threw Gus to the floor, and they had to take Gus off the floor with a dislocated shoulder."

Of course we have these videos as well of Wilt blocking Kareem's and Gilmore's shots, as well. You know...the average 7-2 centers that he was facing in his career...

Are you kidding me?... Show me a single pass from Draymonds 14 assists that is anywhere NEAR that pass.

All of Draymond's assists were simply making a basic chest pass to a 3-point shooter.. I'm amazed that people enjoy watching that garbage.

Today's passing is a joke - all a player needs is basic chest pass to 3-point shooter.. Don't compare today's passing to previous eras... You ethered yourself with that gif..
