If he wins another chip, he HAS to move up the all time rankings.

Duncan is just THAT good...there is no such thing as a sidekick ring for him.

Moving on up...:pimp:

@stalker: its common knowledge, that guys like kobe, dirk, lebron always have to give the max through the regular season, so that their teams can reach the playoffs. its also common knowledge, that duncan, since at least 2007 can sit back during RS and safe his energy for the playoffs.

it sucks, but we all have to deal with it.

duncan still top 7 tough

kobe literally saved the season in game 7 of the western conference finals

people talk about game 4 of the nba finals all the time but the portland series was the real nba finals

kobe basically led the lakers in points, rebounds, assists and blocks in the end all be all game to win it all

How is he lucky, or is taking a huge pay cut to help the team considered luck?

If Kobe was on the Spurs instead of Duncan we'd have a losing record right now

He was lucky for being drafted by such an unique franchise, with Pop in charge.

Yeah, Duncan is a great player, one of the best D players of all-time and had an incredible peak in '03, but had he not had the luck of landing on the Spurs, he would be a fringe Top10 of all-time, which is great too. Instead, some people rank him as high as Top4, which is way too high for him.

The same Popovich who was this close to being fired and needed Duncan to save his ass in the Houston game?

The same Popovich who is considered the GOAT coach.

Duncan saved his ass? Noshit. As I said, Duncan is an all-time great, he sure have done incredible thing, but he belongs closer to KG than Hakeem, for instance.

Kobe didn't even play, Lakers win against 6ers, remember they lost with Kobe playing the first time around.

Curry played only 5 minutes, Warriors win.

GOAT coach, please... Pop really was nothing special when he named himself HC in '96. Had the Spurs lost this (http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/199903020HOU.html) game, chances are Doc Rivers takes over. That said, the so called greatest of all time coach, still keeps making huge mistakes on the daily. Playing Porker 30 mpg in the playoffs, which cost the Spurs the Clippers' series, another long playoff run, and another great TD postseason. Five more minutes of either Joseph or Mills, and the Spurs win that series. The infamous sitting TD in game 6 of the 2013 finals, when only one rebound was needed. Playing Manu 29 mpg in the '13 finals, when he almost had more turnovers than assists. The list goes on and on. Quite odd for the so called GOAT coach.

Pop has to thank TD, not vice versa.

Duncan has every excuse in the world made for him.

Just like Bran.

It's lonely at the top. (Kobe)

Everyone makes mistakes, even Jordan the GOAT made them. Even the glorified Duncan.

Pop has to thank TD, of course, but without Popovich, the TD we know wouldn't even exist.
