Yeah. Hakeem is my favorite C. #4 or #5 of all-time for me. Best two-way center ever. He and Michael could anchor some good defense for your team, but Curry at SF woulld get slaughtered. I would rather put Bird at SF, he was a good defender, and Curry at PG.

You have Lebron and Curry as your ball handlers. Curry and Durant provide the spacing, Jordan and Lebron can collapse the defence and find Curry and Durant open for 3's all day.
On defense, you have Jordan, LBJ and Hakeem who are all DPOY caliber defenders, and also Durant with his length. If things get tough, give it to Hakeem on the block and let him work. You can't double anyone on this team without getting killed.

Bird is also much more ISO-happy than Durant is. Durant can go passive for three straight quarters doing nothing but playing team ball and passing to his teammates.
Also, Sabonis is a much better stretch option than Walton, also a better passer. And if we can cheat to a degree and put prime sabonis in this, then it's not even a competition, basically the MJ of centers.

The only person who's iso-happy on my team is Curry, and the man's probably the most dangerous iso player ever from deep.

He's not disruptive, he's one of the best team players ever.
ISO-ball can be complementary to the team play concept if you use it correctly.
From what I've seen, and this has nothing to do with the data or stats or anything, I know 4 players who are incredible at making last second shots when the shot clock is counting the last few seconds, kobe mj bird and curry. And I think either Bird or Kobe are the best options for my team and I already have curry on.
System not working is when the plays do not work out and you don't have at least a relatively good shot, then you pass it to the best player on the team with a few seconds left on the shot clock and hope that he bails you out.
If I can be more specific-
C- Arvydas Sabonis in his prime years before first achilles tear, doesn't matter which year, can be 18 for all we care, would still dominate
PF- Dirk 11
SF- Durant any year from 13 would do
SG- Kobe 01-03, 08-10, 12-13 all of those versions would be sufficent
PG- current curry obviously.
