Who bought league pass through a VPN this year?

HALP! I bought a VPN (private internet access) and no matter what country I set it to it still thinks I'm in the US. Anyone have a link to a tutorial on how to do this? I would just use Ballstreams but I can't renew my subscription there as it seems to be going under.

Do you use the full application or just the browser settings? Ive got pia and purevpn and have never had issues with either but find purevpn quicker speeds for me. Maybe contact pia support. If you do an ip check (google what is my ip) does the country show as correct there? Is the ip being detected different when vpn is disconnected?
