But you were dead before you were born, and you didn't give a shit then?

I'm scared of how i'm going to die and the pain/anxiety that it'll bring. The unknown.

Religion helps with this. That's why it exists in the first place.

bro, when its time for you to die, you will be relieved that you are finally leaving this god forsaken place. It will be a similar feeling to when you lie down and go to sleep after a long day, but magnified by 100.

Death ought to be a liberating feeling to a person of faith, as it brings you closer to the final destination.
What's going on Justin?

Exactly. I was born a Catholic, but not religious. Whenever I have nights where the idea of death scares me, I end up praying. It helps me fall asleep. Just like JohnFreeman said, we were all dead before we were alive so thinking about that helps me too.

I'm more afraid of losing people I love. I don't know how I will react. I might go crazy.

So Satan is bumping a thread that was created before he joined ISH. Unlike RRR3 who joined in 2010.

RRR3 has nothing better to do than to bump old threads and mock religious people. Shameful.

I too am afraid of death and the unknown even though I'm religious and a believer in Jesus Christ our lord and savior and a believer in an afterlife. And it's a real simple reason as to why I'm scared. I quite like my life and like the fact that I'm a living sentient being. And the thought of that ending one day terrifies me. I sometimes wonder what's the point to life if we are alive one minute and dead the next? I question the fairness in it. But if you're a skeptic as I used to be, you can look to all the evidence that is out there that indicates that there is indeed life after death. That we actually automatically transport ourselves to another dimension that our physical mortal bodies cannot see, hear, or feel. You can watch the countless hours of recorded interviews with people who have had Near Death Experiences that date back for years and years and how they all have a commonality to them. You can see how legit mediums are able to connect with loved ones. And lastly, you can read the Bible to experience the true word of God and the true accounts of the miracles performed by Jesus while he was alive and after his death.

Absolutely, 100% ZERO “evidence” that indicates that there is life after death.

100% zero evidence that there isn't.
