They play better without Blake as the same with when they play without Paul.

not surprising, blakes a dominant player, but he wrecks all kind of offensive flow. He finds it very hard to fit in within an offensive scheme.

trade blake, trade paul. They make their teammates worse.

Clips also played well when CP3 was out for almost a month. This tells me DJ is an impactful player. It also tells me that their trio of stars don't compliment each other best. I always thought they were best with CP3, a great wing player and Blake/DJ. Not having a great wing player is a huge minus, you just need one.

Here are the teams we've played during this stretch:

Utah (without Favors AND Gobert)
Wizards (without Beal)
Hornets (without Jefferson)
Pelicans
Sixers

And we have the Blazers, Hornets, and Pelicans up next.

We're in the midst of an extremely easy stretch and Doc is finally playing Cole Aldrich + the bench as a whole is starting to play well...it has zero to do with the team playing better without Blake. :oldlol:

Beal hasn't really improved that much, the Wizards have more problems than him. Hornets are moving away from dumping it down to Al and it's paid dividends.

It is an easy schedule, though. Might as well take advantage of it anyway possible.

It's skewed this year, but not in any other season.

I'm just waiting for dude to notch a 30-win season on his belt. :applause:

one of the games was at lakers which makes it more of a four game road trip. they would have won all those games with blake but the offense has been better without him since the guy playing 4 is shooting threes and spacing the floor. also doc has finally figured out a bench lineup that works since he benched josh smith and is playing pablo prigioni and cole aldrich.

If the Clipps could move Griffin for an elite wing like Butler or George, their court balance would improve significantly. I'd like to see the Clipps play more small-ball lineups with Griffin at Center.

Blake and Paul don't work well together.

They're both so good you hardly notice, and they're 2 of the best passers at their position, so it almost looks like they have chemistry. But they don't.

I've been saying for years they should trade Paul if his value is still high. I'd consider trading Griffin too, but that's not an option because of the moolah he brings in.

If they trade Paul, they should trade Reddick too. Those two work well together.

Anyway Clippers should choose between Paul/Reddick ball (running off screens, gutsy jumpers, lots of motion) and Griffin/Jordan hi-lo. Both are great and you can win a title with either. But trying to mix the two creates identity problems when crunchtime rolls around, as we've seen over the last few years.

Piss easy schedule and yeah, Blake and CP3 aren't the answer together.
