Actually kind of fond of the move, I always liked Brand classy guy. Here is a great read on why he decided to sign.

Money.
They're paying him lots of money.
I believe that is why he signed.

Yup. Why else sign with the worst team in the league?

I don't know, I think I might rather go unemployed than play for the Sixers at the moment

You have no idea what Brand's current financial situation is. If a team called you up and offered you millions to chill on the bench, grab season tickets courtside, and be a mentor to some kids, would you decline? Would you admit its about the money either?

Did you believe Lebron's "Im Coming Home" shit was really about coming home too? And not about Cleveland being a more stacked team?

i don't give 2 ****s about anything lebron does. i forgot you are aware of brands current financial status. court side seats to a sixers game man that must have really enticed him.

I've always liked him he didn't live up to expectations but injuries played a big part in that.

Cool read.

Who knows, maybe a guy who's been an all-star and a top player in the league at one point can be a good mentor for a team that needs ANY veteran experience, especially for someone like Jah.

Or because Brand has always been a class act, professional about his craft? Same guy who when he signed with the Sixers the first time said they were a young team on the rise and he wanted to be apart of what they were trying to do. He could have gone to a better situation like most players do.

One of the knocks is no vet presence. Brand is going to show how these kids prepare and carry themselves on the court. Follow the leader so to speak.

Welcome back old school chevy. :applause:

They couldn't just hire him to babysit them in games & off the court (also while traveling) & pay him millions for it?
