Why are Harden and Drummond even there? Actually, I understand Drummond, but Harden? Green is too high, IMO.
1. Curry
2. Kawhi
3. LeBron/WB
4. LeBron/WB
5. KD
6. Jimmy
7. Blake
8. Green
9. Wade (Homer pick)
10. PG

2. Leonard
3. Westbrook
4. Lebron
5. George
6. Butler
7. Lowry
8. Drummond
9. Durant
10. Paul
Obviously Durant is better than some of the people above him, but Westbrook has taken over at the leader for OKC, and I can't rank a 2nd option very high in the MVP race.

1. Stephen Curry
The BITW who is leading best team in the world; what else does it take to be a runaway MVP candidate again?
2. Kawhi Leonard

How bad is the NBA now that there isn't a single skilled big man post player in the MVP race?

You're not valuable if you're not playing.
See this type of argument constantly brought up, and it is the most stupid thing ever.
Anyway...
Curry
Leonard
Bron
Westbrook and Durant are literally the definition of equals on the basketball court and have no shot since they would definitely be stealing votes of each other.

Do the people naming Drummond even watch the Pistons. I would understand if Drummond was a defensive anchor but Reggie Jackson is their best player. Teams prefer when Det attempts to force feed Dre and he puts up those godly 20/20 games(half his rebounds are his own misses).

Curry has the mvp on lock this year (barring injuries)
I'm pulling for paul george to get back in early season form and win the mvp...smooth player the best SF IMHO.
Watch out for jimmy buckets tho
if he keeps doing what he does with dee rose looking like a d-leaguer next to him? it's a wrap.

Great list, especially your rationale for each guy.
That list really is pretty much spot on.

On the tier of their own:
AMC
Kiwi
Westbrick/Durant
Lebron
PG
Butler
Green
is Green really more valuable to his team or be able to duplicate the value that Horford or Millsap brings to their respective team

I can't believe some people still think RW is more valuable than KD.
Zero basketball IQ.

Curry obviously if the season ended today but Leonard's arrow is pointing up while Curry's play has tapered off a bit of late. Leonard has been very impactful on both ends and the advanced numbers back this up. If he continues his play and Curry continues to level off, it could get interesting.

The latter. There are hierarchies on basketball teams. If you make Green "the man" and run your offense through him, he would be less effective. He is in a great spot right now where he isn't the focal point or even the 2nd option so defenses aren't keyed in on him. He can just concentrate on doing the little things that make him so impactful and not carry an offense and have to waste energy doing that.

What is the logic for Westbrook or KD above Lebron? Both have worse records, and are taking votes away from each other... yet somehow are more valuable?

CP3 continues to get underrated. Right now LAC has a top 5 record in the league, 4th in the west and have won their last 6. 5 in a row without Griffin. People really have Harden above him smh.

Don't think Curry really cares though, he should rest if that injury keeps bothering him. Repeating is the number one priority, not MVP.

1) Steph Chef Dingo Curry
He's the best player in the NBA this season, plays the most important position, and has led his team playing that position to the best record in the NBA.
2) King LeBron Two Rings James
KLBTRJ is always in this because he is who he is. 4x MVP still going hard.
3) Kawhi Kiwi Leonard aka the only n!gga with cornrows in the League
Kawhi is the best two way player in the NBA right now. He plays with the poise that putting up 20/7/7 is like a quiet night from him but that's what's come to be expected everytime he steps on the hardwood. Spurs got off to an amazing start this season and a lot of it has to do with his defense. He's a potential DPOY canditate in + to MVP voting.
4) Tall Paul Trill Millsap
Millsap has been the engine for the Hawks this season. He's so versatile, guards smalls and bigs alike, isn't afraid to take the big shots. Without Millsap, the Hawks would drop off. He mastered what TJYD did last season and added that to his game, while getting all the more aggresive and physical. The Hawks are Finals contenders just like the teams those three guys up there play for, so I don't see why he won't get some votes.
5) Russell Westbrook/Kevin Durant
I don't have nicknames with these guys, it's hard to choose one on the court. You already know. Durant is more valuable to the team's essence and style of play while Westbrook is more valuable in the team's scoring? If that makes sense
6) Jimmy Buckets Butler
Butler is another great two way player who gets a lot done for the Bulls. He's alpha as sh!t and has garnered the respect from coaching staff, teammates and Bulls fans. He could move up on this list the way the Bulls are playing, they should send a message to MIL and get that 5th straight W tonight.
7) Dwyane Flash Wade
He's not Flash but he's Dwyane Wade and he's playing great for a winning Heat team.
And finally,
8) Chris Paul
9) Paul George
10) Dirk Nowitzki
