How many people could even put up these numbers in a gym by themselves with no defenders?

I find it funny that his feet are like exactly half an inch behind the line every time he shoots a 3. He won't shoot if he's not right on the line most of the time. Very robot like

And people came at me sideways when I said he was still getting better and would size up very well against Westbrook in that Westbrook vs. Leonard thread. It will be bumped in good time.

:oldlol:

What do you mean by "size up" ? Leonard is having his first elite season vs Westbrook who's been elite for a while now. Why would people before hand not take Westbrook ?

As for this season, both are having fantastic seasons and both should start in the ASG and rack up an All-NBA team.

Yeah people did the same thing in the Chandler Parsons thread

:yaohappy:

That's completely different.

Parsons wasn't an elite player for seasons before like Westbrook has been.

I'm not sure why he isn't, he's very efficient when he gets single coverage but we haven't seen whether he's a capable passer out of double teams, or whether he can make quick decisions once the double comes.

Nope. Duncan would have 4 FMVPs.

It's the same in the sense of people laughing it off before but taking it completely serious now. Go back and look at some of those comments in the parsons vs leonard thread.

Pop's barely done any work with Kawhi. If you're going to credit people other than Kawhi for his development, then you're best giving it to Chip and Udoka.

Then again, I doubt you even know who they are; you're that stupid.

Have you even watched the Spurs play this year.. Leonard is getting doubles a lot this year... Pop even gave Leonard some film to watch of Charles Barkley and how dealt with double teams to help him..

Before this year Leonard wasn't being doubled much.. This year he is a lot

It's wonderful to see how he's developed into a star. Couldn't have done it with any other organization IMO. Pop made a conscious decision to anoint him as "the future," and you can see Pop's confidence inspire him.

I really like how he's developed his shooting. He's not a Curry who is born with it. He slowly got better each year with hard work.

You said that last year? Hard to believe seeing as how most people hate melo here. Durant I can definitely see people writing Kawhi off last year in that conversation. Kawhi wasn't at this level.

Durant is a bum though

Pay him no mind. He's a rabid Duncan hater around these parts. It seems Duncan is becoming a LeBron/Kobe/Jordan type of polarizing player these days where he breeds masses of haters since he became an objective top 5 player all time recently on this site and RealGM's ATG lists. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd assume he's just an alt of that Hamtaro fella.

Kawhi owning the league with mid range jumpers and post game.

But but but.. I thought mid range and post was just so ineffective? :confusedshrug:

Or maybe it is like I said, modern players just suck at shooting mid range and playing the post.
