got fat decided it was better to play in China, he is also a naturalized Filipino now playing for our National team. We were able to reach the Fiba Asia Finals but lost to China.

I'm also wondering why no one picked him up, dude is a versatile stretch 4. Heck if Javale Mcgee is still in the league.

I can only speculate, but when a player has Blatche's size and ability, and he still can't make a roster... it usually comes down to attitude and/or work ethic.

Filipina basketball, the only place where a 6'2'' white guy can play center. I need to go visit the Phils again soon.:roll: :roll: :roll:

He has a huge contract in China, and only has to play half the season of an NBA season. There is no reason for him to play in the NBA, unless he wants to make about half the money, and play twice the games.

Blatche had a little bit of talent, but he never could succeed against serious competition. He'd come off the bench and beat on some backups and score 25, but if anyone actually guarded him he wouldn't do anything. For a player who can do absolutely nothing but score, that won't work.

For him to play in China is appropriate. There he can be a 1 or 2 option against second-rate competition.
