View Full Version : I hope LeBron doesn't leave us again...

There has been some talk on the town about a repeat...not a championship repeat but a repeat of LeBron James leaving the Cavaliers. Not any of us saw the Golden State Dynasty rise out of no where and now it looks like LeBron is going to get skunked at least one more time. Fool me once, shame on you LeBron, fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be fooled again. LeBron James is leaving Cleveland. Beware.

He'd get crucified if that happened, especially with 'coming home' campaign back in 2014.

What's the point, he wont find a better team than Cleveland. Unless he pairs up with Durant somewhere, lol.

Last free agency for Bron, his buddy Wade (2nd best player in the league) was also a free agent... we saw what happened there.

This upcoming free agency for Bron, his buddy Durant (2nd best player in the league) is also a free agent...

Will history repeat itself?

Nah, at this point it's not about ring totals for Lebron, it's about getting ONE in Cleveland. In his mind, winning one title in Cleveland is worth far more than winning multiple titles elsewhere (and he's probably right). He's not going anywhere.

I think if they get beat in the finals clearly, then a big change is going to happen. Most likely would be Blatt getting fired.

Why comeback so late? Why not do it earlier in the season?

17 games left in the season screams "I want to try to win a ring with this current roster that got this team here.....sneak in the backdoor and take the credit"

If Chicago won the title that year, there would be no asterisk from his stans....it would be "MJ 4-4...MJ 4-4....MJ4-4!!!!!

Lol @ Cleveland being so mindfvcked acting like they got MJ playin for em or some shit. :lol

Let's look at what Lebron has done.

2004 Solid rookie season, doesn't make the playoffs, whatever
2005 Solid 2nd season, doesn't make the playoffs, whatever
2006 Great playoff performances, but not enough to beat Detroit
2007 Makes it to the finals in just his 4th season, but only manages to put up the following and gets swept.

14-4-7
25-6-7
25-7-8
24-10-6

2008 Made it to the 2nd round playoffs, loses to Boston to 7 games, puts up the following:

12-9-9 (L)
21-6-5 (L)
21-8-5 (W)
21-13-6 (W)
35-5-3 (L)
32-6-12 (W)
45-6-5 (L)

2009 Makes it to ECF against Orlando, loses in 6 games, puts up the following

49-8-6 (L)
35-5-4 (W)
41-9-7 (L)
44-7-12 (L)
37-12-14 (W)
25-7-7 (L)

2010 Makes it to the 2nd round, loses to Boston in 6 games

35-7-7 (W)
24-4-7 (L)
38-7-8 (W)
22-8-9 (L)
15-7-6 (L) - stood around, looked uninterested
27-10-19 (L)

2011 Leaves Cleveland, heads to Miami, makes the finals, and loses in 6 vs Dallas

24-5-9 (W)
20-4-8 (L)
17-9-3 (W)
8-7-9 (L)
17-10-10 (L)
21-6-4 (L)

2012 Beats Thunder in the Finals in 5 games
2013 Beats spurs in the Finals in 7 games

2014 Loses to spurs in Finals in 5 games, puts up the following:

25-3-6 (W)
35-3-10 (L)
22-7-5 (L)
28-2-8 (L)
31-5-10 (L)

2015 Jumps back over to the Cavs, loss to the Warriors in Finals in 6 games, puts up the following:

44-6-8 (38 FGA and shot 47.4%)
39-11-16 (35 FGA and shot 31.4%)
40-8-12 (34 FGA and shot 41.2%)
20-8-12 (22 FGA and shot 31.8%)
40-11-14 (34 FGA and shot 44.1%)
32-9-18 (33 FGA and shot 39.4%)

So we are left with some solid playoff performances, collusion on 2 separate occasions, and a 2/6 finals record. You can just look at these numbers and know that there is no comparison to what Jordan did.

Exactly. Us true knowledgeable basketball fans see things for what they are. LeBron winning a chip in Cleveland is no different than him winning one in Miami. Loaded rosters full of all-stars is all the same to us.

I don't understand why he came back....what does he have to prove???? dude isn't even from Cleveland..i get so sick of people saying its his hometown...dude was born and raised in akron.....like lets just be honest...yes of course akron doesn't have any pro sports and Cleveland is the nearest city but just no....im sure LeBron can count the number of times he went to Cleveland as child on one hand.

He is literally wasting away his last years with a subpar franchise that couldn't even find the right coach after he left. Im usually against players going to LA to suit up for the lakers but I think LeBron going to LA would have made perfect sense...bring the magic back to lal la land....who wouldn't want to play with LeBron in LA with all that money up for grabs and beautiful women????

Would absolutely damage his image....
Cleveland owes everything to him to even be relevant in sports teams.
He's responsible for a part of the revenue they bring in as a city.

Lebron doesn't care about 3-4 more rings, If he can bring 1-2 to Cleveland as a main Cog, he will leapfrog other ATG's and even transition to management. I believe Gilbert and Him have some sort of pact where if he can get a championship there, he will have some ownership in them.
