The last 3 games have been pretty impressive. I like that Fisher seems to have a rotation somewhat sorted. Melo seems to have bought in, and these guys are starting to mesh... fun to watch.

Impressive is right. What a good time to start playing well. It's important to making a run that the next 8 games are at worst finished at 5-3. Hopefully better.

-hot streaks like this (because it's not that hot a streak) shouldn't be justification to not Make any changes to the roster

- team still needs to address getting more easy baskets and finding more guys than just Carmelo and half a game of dwill that draw fouls

So why hasn't Phil signed Wroten? Could it be that he's seeing great defense and chemistry? Say it ain't so ~

I don't know why he didn't sign Wroten. Yeah maybe calderons defense is the reason.

You won't see much increase in "easy baskets" unless they modify/scrap even more of the Triangle.

Running and getting Lay ups is part of any offense. Can't blame the triangle on that. The reason the Knicks aren't getting that is they don't have talent when it comes to speed. Don't have fast guards or really even wings/bigs to run the floor either. Carmelo, d Williams, and most especially KP would all benefit from a guard who could push the pace and still be a safe guy getting into the triangle

Team needs a Speed Triangle.

Zack LavineUnless you're taking about forcing live ball turnovers then it is in fact partially due to the triangle. The Triangle has never been an offense that works well in early offense situations. It's why every team that has used it is average at best in regards to pace average of their league. The only real chance I can see of someone making the Triangle better in transition is if they figure out an efficient blend of Triangle and old school Lakers Two Guard Break.

first time i agree with you , but zach lavine cannot be the answer for everything...before you write, you should think first and then use logic on whether the wolves would even trade their future rubio replacement

The reason I mention him is to say that the Knicks should figure out a way to get a guy that will come into his prime. Everybody seems to want to get guys that are or were in their prime. Pay Mike Conley 25 mill? That's the answer?

Maybe they won't trade Lavine. But his value isn't as high as message boards say. Can't be. Maybe higher than the Knicks could pay but still not what wolves fans think. They think he's only in a trade if he's the key piece to a superstar.

Lavine is just the best example of a guy that people don't think could ever become a real pg. but he's be great at pg in the Knicks system more than a pg in most teams systems.

Lavine isn't a PG in any system. He has zero feel for the game and has poor court-vision. It's going to be a failed experiment no matter what system you put him in.
